How have I not done a note on this? I’ve had it at least 3 other times, silly me. This was sent to me by the lovely Michelle.

So, right in the middle of a move to our new apartment. It’s got a lovely balcony that goes all along the back of the place and I can’t wait to get a nice outdoor couch so I can have lovely tea out there in the morning. It’s also got these lovely built in glass shelves as you enter the kitchen and I’ve already told the fiancé that that is for my tea, and when I’m done he can have whatever space is left. ;) His hobbies are not food related so I should be safe. Stopped at my parents house right now while I wait a few days to get the keys and of course my tea came with me. Top priority!

I do love this tea. It’s such a nice blend of spicy and sweet flavors (see description of “spicy and jammy”). They mingle perfectly, love the berry notes and hint of vanilla. The chai is not too strong so nothing needs to be added to make it drinkable (again, I have trouble with masala chai like teas). Will definitely have to add honey to the next cup and see how it does, also maybe steeping a bit longer for the herbals in there. I would definite get more of this.

Added a bit of milk and sugar this time. I think it helps tone down the bergamot a bit which is quiet strong for me. It’s good, that said I don’t think I’ll be buying this one again. Just too much Earl Grey for me.

This is fantastic! Thanks Emilie for this sample. Definitely adding this to my next order.
I was actually hesitant to try this because of the peppercorns, I thought it was going to be spicy. As I’ve said before I’m a total wuss when it comes to spices, but no worries here!
It’s like an Andes mint in a cup, with a little kick from the peppercorns. So so delicious. The mint is nice and cool on the tongue but the chocolate is rich and mellows it out. Yum. The peppercorns show up as an aftertaste in the back of my mouth. I can definitely see why this is a best seller.

Dremel-ed the toenails of five dogs within an hour, cannot breathe due to nail dust. So here we are. Even if the holy basil doesn’t really help my sinuses, sticking my head over the steaming cup is working a bit. Tasty too.

I had this tea yesterday for the first time ever and did it really help me. I suffer from chronic asthma and it helped me like I was actually taking meds. I couldn’t believe it aI was in shock!! It helped me to breathe a little bit better and it did relax me and in about 30 minutes I was asleep. If you have upper respiratory problems I recommend that you try this. I wish you well.

Thanks Emilie for this sample!

Mmm fall teas. I love fall, I can’t wait to cuddle up in a sweatshirt and drink some tea and watch the leaves. Ah, I love it!
Steeped for 4 minutes, though 5 was advised. Didn’t want any bitterness but I have a feeling it would have been okay anyway.
This smells like a fall candle, which is a good thing! Lots of my favorite spices and of course pumpkin. It tastes really good too, I do get some sort of cool feeling on the back of my tongue dunno what does it, and it’s not bad. There is a little bit of something artificial in there, it may be the candies. Tasty nonetheless!

Forgot to write about this one!
Had a nice little tea tasting with a mutual friend of my future-MIL. She’s had tea before but has never really explored different types, loose tea, etc. So I was a little bit worried she wouldn’t like the taste. I was worried I wouldn’t like the taste because this is my first “loose” shou. There was no need though everybody liked it! I didn’t take notes or anything so I don’t remember exactly flavors that I picked up. I’ll have to try it again on my own so I can focus more on the taste. I was busy explaining tea things. :) It seems like this would be a good “everyday” type puer.

Great! Good for you…your future MIL! WOW! I gave some to my Priest and he loved it too! We’re doing a good job converting people to different tea’s!

One of my favorite thing about tea is sharing it with others. I left her a bunch of sample sized stuff as well.

So I cold brewed my used leaves (steeped once), and forgot about them for a bit, however I am drinking it now! Nice light fruity flavor, very sweet. Really good!
