Thank you so much for this sample, Teavivre!
Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness! I’m telling you, this is going on my shopping list right next to their Blueberry tea. Yuuuuum.
Okay, I’ll try to use better words >.<. I love milk oolong, and I was dying to try this one. This is the third I’ve had, the other two being DavidsTea and Tealish’s offerings, and this is my favorite, though I may need to do a side-by-side tasting. It’s lighter, not as rich as Davids, which I enjoy. It doesn’t have as heavy of a mouth-feel. It’s sweet and I can’t really tell if it’s floral or fruity, but it’s good, whichever it is. There’s a very light caramel taste, and the tea on the whole is just out of this world.
I’m suddenly very, very glad my wife isn’t a fan of milk oolongs so I can keep the remaining three packets to myself! I’m going to resteep this little beauty for the rest of the day. I am noticing the drying of the mouth others mention, but like they said, it’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just something I noticed.
And oh! This tea opened up beautifully. Beautifully! Might pour the leaves into my steeper to just watch it go! Next packet will definitely be done in the glass gaiwan. And the fact that the temperature is foolproof only makes me love it all the more.
One packet in 10oz of water, 100C, 2 minutes in my Perfect Mug from DavidsTea.
