Wow this is a great one! Lupicia suggests using boiling water for brewing, which worried me a bit but I followed anyway… I just kept the brewing time as short as possible. The brewed cup turned out to be fine and free from bitterness – whew! Fresh Japanese apple aroma and taste, which was wonderful. Remember the Karel Capek apple tea I tried years ago, the apple flavour was soooo artificial and sooooo overpowering, but this tea tasted completed natural. Great job Lupicia! I enjoyed this after having a bowl of salty instant noodles and felt totally refreshed :)

A devilish girl who lives up to the post-80s youth stereotype – hedonistic, frivolous and rebellious – except I love traditional afternoon tea rather than a quick caffeine fix at Starbucks.

I make a living off others’ criminal activities. It’s a busy job and I really wish I could retire, so I can become a full-time afternoon tea connoisseur instead. :j

I love any tea that has nice scent, great flavour and lovely packaging. My current top favourite brands are Mariage Freres, T2, and THE O DOR. ;)

I am now practising mindfulness as a way of living. I decide to use tea tasting as a means to meditate in my daily life. My tasting notes here will therefore be my meditation notes :)

I’ve got no time to update my Pinterest and blog since I became a mom. Nevertheless, if you feel curious, you are most welcomed to visit these abandoned pages:
