This tea produces the typical oolong golden yellow type brew, and cools to become very smooth and gently sweet. A very easy-drinking tea.

This is one of the better flavoured greens I’ve had from Tea Leaves. The cherry flavour is there, but it’s not overpowering, and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. It worked out really well this time at 85C for four minutes.

This is a very light – in colour and taste – dragonwell, very delicate and in need of careful handling, but it’s really worth the effort. That particular malty dragonwell sort of flavour comes through strongly, despite the lightness and the delicacy. This is a great cup of tea.

This is one of my favourite teas, but it wasn’t as good as usual this time. The first brew was a bit weaker than it should have been, and the second didn’t have as much flavour as I wanted even though I steeped it for a bit longer than usual. I’m getting near the end of my current stash, so it might be time to forget about this lot of leaves and get some new ones.

I left the first brew steeping for longer than intended, but even after seven minutes it was only a little more astringent than usual. Currently on the second brew, which I didn’t leave as long, and everything has smoothed out nicely. A really good, forgiving tea.

Tried 1.5 times the recommended amount of leaves this time, just as an experiment. The cinnamon gets a bit overpowering at this strength, though it’s still drinkable – back to the usual amount next time.

Still drinking this, because it really is just that good.

I tried this one again, at double the recommended strength this time. This produced better all-round flavour, with a touch of mandarin lurking behind everything else. No tea should require a double-strength brew before I can even detect a hint of the flavour it’s supposed to be, though.

This one is really growing on me. Definitely one of the better citrus green teas I’ve had.

I’m not as keen on this one as I was. There are quite a lot of interesting notes in the scent from the dry leaves that get lost once the tea is brewed.
