I’ve only tried two types of oolong and wanted some more, so I was excited to see this at the grocery store, but skeptical of course since it’s bagged tea. I got on Steepster and read the reviews as soon as I got home and was like “Oh no, I’m gonna have to return this.” But I tried it anyway to be sure. You know what, I liked it, and I’m keeping it! :)

I think the reason so many people had a bad experience with this tea might be because they treated it like loose leaf, which won’t work since bagged tea is so finely ground that it’s gonna oversteep VERY quickly if you’re not careful. I see that a lot of people steeped theirs for 4 minutes. I did mine for 2 min, 30 sec, which still may have been too long because I did notice a faint vegetable taste (but it went away after a few sips. weird). Anyway, I’m glad I don’t have to return this, I just have to keep an eye on the time and use the correct temperature and it will be just fine! :)

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 2 min, 30 sec

Hi, I’m Tyler :) I’m a fashion blogger with quite the tea obsession. I try to keep my caffeine intake next to nothing, so I’m always on the lookout of a new herbal to taste :)
