Seeing as I am a big fan of the Ghibli Movie, I was ecstatic to try a tea that was inspired by the animated classic. The Totoro tea was delicious; the earthy taste mixed with a hint of fruit captures the essence of the forest in a mug. I believe that the forest spirit would approve. I know that I do.

I prepared this brew as per the package instructions; adding a splash of milk. Once steeped, I was pleasantly surprised with Adagio’s take on this classic. The aroma was deliciously inviting. As for the first sip, the tea is a very hearty, and robust tea. I believe that this particular blend was stronger than other English Breakfasts that I have tried; perfect for an early morning wake up call.

Well, it is back to the blogging grind for me today.
So, naturally, I decided to make a cup of English Breakfast to go along with my blogging.
I love that this is a hearty, robust tea that wakes you up from your bleary-eyed slumber. In fact, I find that this particular English Breakfast is stronger than many other English Breakfasts that I have tried. My one little “niggle” is that there doesn’t appear to be enough Tea in the teabagged version. When I reorder, I will definitely opt for the loose-leaf, the extra preparation time is worth it.

Update: The More that I drink this tea, the more that I like it. Anxiety be damned, I want another cup.

I am now onto my third episode of my Gilmore Girls re-watch, which means that it is time for another cup of tea.

Since I am attempting to drink through my tea cupboard, I decided to make a cup of Swampwater (which I had left over from Halloween).

When brewed, this tea, true to its name, is a swampish green; which some might find unappetizing. The aroma features a hint of citrus and fruit; it is delightful.

As for the taste, Swampwater is not ‘woody’ tasting like I find many other Rooibos teas. However, I am not all that impressed, overall. I mean, this tea is okay, I am just not that excited about it.

As someone who suffers severe anxiety, I generally have to limit my caffeinated teas to 1 – 2 cups per day (sometimes more if I am bad). So, when I am in the market for a caffeine-free cup, Super Ginger is one of my top picks (especially when I am ill).
The aroma of this blend is pleasantly earthy and gingery, as is the taste.
Sidenote: I am currently enjoying a cup of Super Ginger before bed while rewatching the Gilmore Girls series.

Hmmm … I am certain that I like this tea. However, I don’t think that I enjoy the blueberry flavour in this tea as much as DAVIDsTea’s Blueberry Jam. Nevertheless, I am sipping on this brew right now as I work on my upcoming blog posts.
