Nat Blue (Nat at Blue) Send Message

This is one of my favorite teas. For many the strong cinnamon taste is off putting, but it seems I like cinnamon in my tea. I wouldn’t drink this tea at dinner as the taste would overpower the food, but I like it at breakfast.

I was really surprised that I liked this tea. Chocolate teas usually leave me disappointed, as if they are poor stand-ins for hot chocolate. However, this tea worked for me, peppermint with an overtone of chocolate—perfect for dessert.

I had a sample of this in my last order, and while I would consider this tea inoffensive, it’s not my thing. The leaves smelled similar to mulled cider, but the tea had a hint of a perfume taste and not much else once brewed which somewhat reminded me of my least favorite offerings from Celestial Seasonings. Perhaps this tea is better if you have a greater tea per water ratio. I made it in an 8 ounce mug rather than a small teacup.
