After talking about sugar shacks for way too long earlier all I can think about now is maple syrup. And since I finally got a bottle again I had to add some to a cup of Pancake Breakfast.
OH DEAR TEA GODS. I added a bit more than I wanted so it’s a bit too sweet for my liking at the end of each sip but this makes it even better. I think maybe I lost the pancake part a good bit but you know what, no actual pancakes were made so it’s fair. Still got the butter, though.
This weekend I plan to make Martin Picard’s maple syrup soaked doughnut holes (http://www.bonappetit.com/recipes/2012/01/maple-syrup-soaked-doughnut-holes) and I think I will drink this, sans the extra maple syrup, with them.
