I was just about to go outside and check my mail when the power flickered twice and there was a clap of thunder. The radar is blank by me. I guess I’m not going anywhere.
I got more of this from Emilie so I took what she sent me and cold steeped it overnight. Well…more than overnight because I completely forgot about it until 7pm. I thought it might be too strongly flavored to drink but it’s just fine.
I like it a lot better this way than steeping it hot and then pouring over ice. It tastes creamier and the flavor gets toned down a bit better. I think I will do that from now on, not sure how I’d really like it hot.
