Made a ice/milk/matcha shakeup for breakfast, with no sweetner at all. Our raw milk is super fresh today so it really didn’t need any adornment.

Wow, thank you so much boychik for sending me a sample of this tea! I was broke during the last Vente-Privee sale, and would have been reluctant to purchase whole tins in the future without tasting them first anyway.

Could this possibly be the perfect chocolate tea? PERHAPS! It is rich and creamy and so chocolatey, without being bitter or artificial at all, and I didn’t even add ANY sweetener! The base tea is mild and pleasant, and everything seems to meld together so nicely. I’m definitely going to set aside some money to grab a tin of this one the next time it is available.

This is my working on Saturday tea. It is rainy and gross and chilly and this is a nice bright fruity ray of sunshine :)

I am running low on this one…trying to decide if I need more when I buy some Hello Sweetie soon…probably so if I can afford it. I’ve really gotten attached to this one!

I’ve been obsessed with ripe puerh aged in citrus rinds for months now. I was so excited to see that TeaVivre was offering one!

My sample packet came in the mail yesterday, and I eagerly opened it this morning. The dry leaf is mixed with lots of large tangerine peel chunks, and smells sweetly of citrus!

I did an extra long steep after a brief rinse, which resulted in a dark and RICH creamy brew with cocoa notes and a subtle citrus aftertaste. This definitely has an earthy flavor, and may not appeal to puerh newbies. I would recommend something more mellow for people just starting out in the world of puerh. But for seasoned shu puerh fanatics, this is a welcome and unique taste experience!

Breakfast POWER smoothie! 1 banana, 3 ice cubes, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 2 tbs smooth peanut butter, 1/2 scoop caramel matchaccino= YUM

Oh Dancong, you are so seductive with your stone fruit sweetness, and your dark mysterious tangy oolong zing. sigh :)

This is really hitting the spot today. Such a wonderful sweet rich nutty bright GREEN tea :)

Just what I was in the mood for!

I’m celebrating the fact that Keychange mailed me some more of this tea today by finishing off the packet I was working on :)

I know I’m in the minority but I loves this one!

I haven’t written a tasting note in a couple of days because I’ve mostly been on a kick of drinking this tea, along with various shu puerhs. Boring to read about but satisfying as heck for me! This one is the perfect combination of sweet/green/savory rice flavors. And I’m loving the matcha kick in the afternoon!

Almost time for Saturday afternoon shopping/errands. Made about 12oz of this in a to-go cup with a tiny bit of brown sugar. I let myself sweeten teas on the weekends sometimes, woo! ;)
