1113 Tasting Notes
Almost out of this tea pout
I know I’m going to make a Butiki order soon. Have to decide what to re-stock and which new teas to try! This one is on the maybe re-stock list for sure.
I’m drinking it unsweetened today because I just ate half a cinnamon roll and I’m already feeling like I’m in a sugar coma. It still tastes very buttery and sweet strawberry to me even without added sweetner. Nom.
Well, this isn’t joking around. It tastes EXACTLY like Mexican hot chocolate. I made it as a latte with sugar. This was very fun to try! Thanks a bunch, Kaylee!
Thanks so much to the lovely teamore for this swap sample!
I’m a little leery of heavily floral teas, though a good jasmine green is one of my favorite things ever. This one does NOT taste like drinking perfume, LOL. It is delicate, feminine, sweet and totally drinkable! It is the kind of flavor I can get lost in…
I really want to try the Champagne Rose Cream now! ugh!!!!
The Champagne & Rose Cream is one of the teas I’m most proud of. I love how it came out. I definitely recommend giving it a try. :)
I’m hoping to place an order not next week but the week after. Fingers crossed for art fair monies! And fingers crossed you don’t run out of carrot cake before then! :)
Stephanie-I would really doubt that we would run out of the carrot cake by then. We have enough for 3 large batches. I could always set aside an ounce for you to be sure though.
Oh man. Another to add to my wishlist for butiki. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Champagne & rose cream is already on there as well. Too many! Not enough mulah! :(
Stephanie-Ok. I will be announcing when we are getting low on it anyways.
BrewTEAlly Sweet-Glad to hear that our teas sound interesting! :)
I can vouch for the champagne and rose cream being exquisite, and am a huge, huge, huge fan of the rose violet calendula. It’s almost too beautiful for me to drink. Almost.
STILL not awake! So I decided to try this swap sample from BrewTEAlly Sweet :)
I’m not really sure what to make of this flavor. It is very toasty/roasty from the roasted mate/coffee beans but I’m not getting much else. That’s okay though. I am glad I got to try it but apparently I prefer my mate with a little something more to flavor it :)
I’m totally going to fall asleep during yoga class tonight, hahaha.
I bought this tisane locally last night in bulk. It has a lot of lemongrass, some lemon peel, ginger, and licorice root.
It was very inexpensive and is a really good bedtime tea when I’m not in the mood for a chamomile based blend.
I like me some lemongrass! And the ginger is nice and spicy :)
You have to mess with the water temp and steep time for the perfect cup! And I promise you will love it. It is very simple though. Maybe that’s why I love it.
We all have our favorites :) I will admit I oversteeped this!
Ha ha true. And there u go:)
