This is a very good Pu’erh in my beginner’s opinion. It’s not fishy at all and it tastes a little sweet.

I brewed this one gong fu style and I enjoyed it. Maybe not as good or special as other pu’erhs from Teavivre but still good quality.

I brewed this gong fu style according to the directions on Teavivre’s website. I enjoyed it a lot, it’s not bitter and a little chocolaty. I find it similar to Laoshan Black by Verdant.

I don’t have a lot to say about this one, it’s good and light. I haven’t drank a lot of silver needle teas but I feel like this one is a good example of what it should taste like.

I thought this tea would be my less favorite of the summer collection, but I’m surprised of how much I like it. I just bought a lot of it because it seems to help me get better when I’m feeling down. I don’t know what it is about this tea that is so amazing but I love it and I am very sad that it isn’t part of the permanent collection.

This tea is composed of really big and heavy fruit pieces, so it can get expensive if you wish to get a lot of infusions. I got 25g of this in the summer collection and if I remember well I got only about 3 to 5 cups of tea out of it. It tastes very good though and you can re-steep it at least one more time.

There is a little something in this tea that bothers me. I can’t pinpoint what exactly, but I can smell it while it’s brewing. It disappears as soon as it hits ice cubes though. I only drink this one iced and it’s pretty good that way.

When I first drank this tea, it reminded me of toothpaste. It’s very minty and I find it hard to pick up the other flavours. I prefer it as an iced tea.

I more used to japanese kinds of green teas so this was different. I don’t know a lot about chinese green tea but I thought this one was good.

I started drinking tea only a few years ago and I enjoy it because there are so many different kinds to try. I love to step out of my comfort zone and taste a wide variety of flavours. I am very curious about the different types of tea and how they are processed. I also appreciate traditional or antique teaware.

This is how I rate teas:
100 : Extraordinary delicious
81-99 : Very good, I enjoy it a lot
66-80 : Good, but not in my favorites
51-65 : Ok, not impressed
36-50 :Disappointing but it isn’t bad
16-35 : I don’t enjoy drinking it
0-15 : Absolutely disgusting, I can’t drink it

In addition to being a tea drinker, I am a foodie, a traveler, an historical junkie, a geek that loves to play video games, a bookworm and a cat lover :)

English isn’t my first language so I hope I’m not butchering it too much!
