This is my favourite tea from Teavana. Probably the only tea I will spend money on from there when it comes back in the fall months. I miss it so much! It makes a beautiful spicy lattee when you steep it in half hot water, half warm milk! Mmmm sooo yummy. You can’t trace any kind of artificial taste in this, either. Just like spicy, earthy, sweet, warm goodness. Please bring this back soon, Teavana!!

drank Ginseng Apricot by Ocha Tea

Pretty good. Green base is good, although i’m not tasting enough of neither the ginseng or the apricot. The packaging says to use 1 tsp per cup and steep for 2 minutes. I think next time I will use more tea, see if I can strengthen this up a little.

Really enjoyed this tea! Not too sweet or strong flavours.

I agree the tea smells like fruit loops… but it’s not a good thing in my book. The citrus taste does not match well with the chamomile… they seem to be in conflict, fighting for my attention rather than working together. I would take a plain chamomile over this concoction any day.

drank Earl Grey by Good Earth Teas
75 tasting notes

Picked up a packet of Good Earth Earl Grey from a store’s tea basket, and I don’t think I’ll try this one again. While I love Earl Grey, this particular blend is quite citrusy and is overtaken by the bergamot. I always drink my Earl with milk, which usually smoothes out overzealous peppery tastes. This still felt astringent and strong, even for a normal steep. I would suggest a light steep to determine taste, with an additional steep if you like some face-puckering Earl Grey taste. Then again, Good Earth is noted for having very bold flavours, no?

4th Russian blend from NYC friends.

Floral but the citrus hid in the background. A little bit of sweetener brought the citrus out a little, but not enough to counteract the floral taste.

so i’m like sitting here looking out the window and I can see three fluffy white clouds. it just gets me thinking… why are there only three? then I think of this tea. it has two flavours: chocolate and orange. why aren’t there three? so yes, I do like this tea. but it needs something else. milk? sugar? i’ll never know….

drank Pina Colada by Tetley

This is a very unconventional herbal tea but it was better than I expected. I enjoyed it but I don’t think this is an everyday tea.

The ingredient list has several other items I didn’t associate with a Pina Colada such as Apple, Orange peels, licorice root and white hibiscus. There is no pineapple or coconut mentioned in the ingredients so I assume the “natural flavors” must include some natural pineapple and coconut flavor.

Flavors: Apple, Coconut, Pineapple
