Popular Tasting Notes
Since quitting coffee I’ve been looking for nice rich teas with strong flavors. I really think this tea fits the bill. The tea part is very high quality and distinctly a puerh. The cinnamon adds a bit of a pep, but doesn’t overpower the actual tea. This is exactly what a flavored tea should be.
Preparation
Teavana is the King of Herbal Teas in my experience, but this one was a small disappointment. I believe they were trying for a lemonade experience and definitely succeeded. It was sour, but not badly, and quite citrusy. However, it lacked that “tea” essence and tasted like lemonade-flavored water. However, I only drank it cold. This would make an amazing iced tea.
Flavors: Citrus, Lemon, Lime
Preparation
I first started with a sample but liked it so much that I ordered a full-size portion immediately. I really enjoy this tea, especially on a cold, rainy morning. I brew at 180 for 5 minutes and stir in a bit of stevia. I have tried with milk as well and like that too but as I drink at my desk at work, I do not often have milk. I needed a change in my daily green tea repertoire and this hits the mark perfectly.
Preparation
After reading people’s reviews I was nervous to brew this, but I Just took my first sip and I’m very surprised to say that I really like it! I did add a small spoonful of raw agave nectar to help sweeten.
It tastes like a light spicy root beer. I might use it to do a monthly detoxification. :)
