This is a weird combination but I like to try odd and new things so I went for it. It has ginseng as the active ingredient and let me tell you… its best not to have caffeine with it. Or maybe its just me. But it gave me heart palpitations. Energy was alright but I prefer caffeine. Taste is highly forgettable and Ive had it every day this week. Would not buy again.
Mmm Ginger tea. Its easy enough to make a Ginger Tea with fresh Ginger… but easiest to just pop some Ginger tea… into a mug. Since it has some snap I like mine with sweetener. It works… I think I like the Asian teas that come with dehydrated honey in it… but this works since the other type is not easily accessible.
Flavors: Ginger
This will be the last Sage tea for awhile. I have now tried all three of the different types on offer with Mesmer. This and the regular Sage are almost the same, with this being a little mellow. I thought it would have been stronger than regular sage but nope. Don’t really get much Eucalyotus and was shocked there was a tea, although it makes sense. Eucalyptus is one of my favorite oils so I thought this would have a similar sinus opening feeling. iIt woukd probably be very useful for cold and flu, but not the best tea to drink just for fun.
Mmmm, Earl Grey. My favorite tea, especially as a sweetened latte. This one is a little fancier than your regular Earl Grey. And I think ties with the one from Tea Friends for number one, although since I can get Tea Friends locally and cheaper, it has an edge. Great as a one steeper. I really enjoyed my
Mornings with this one. I plan to get the regular Earl Grey for comparisons sake. I had the four ounce loose leaf version that comes in a tin. Wish they decorated the loose leaf tin as cute as the bagged version. Anyway…if you are an Earl Grey fan I think its worth trying!
Definitely not the most appealing flavor when it comes to tea..but I’m trying them all! Anyway..the first time i Had this the apple stood out, every time after that I get a hit of lime. A stronger lime than apple flavor. But every now and then the apple would sneak up and come for me. Had a bit of sweetness to it. No honey necessary. It was…OK. Not something I would buy again.
Flavors: Apple, Lime
More Sage tea. Not my first choice of tea but Im determined to try them all. I love sage in chicken pot pie… tea is meh. But its good for your health allegedly. And helps with apetite control since it does not taste that good it stops all cravings completely for me. It tastes kinda like Rosemary. I think they have some of the same chemical makeup is why. Cool one to try but not something I would buy again. I did just pick up a box of the Sage Eucalyptus so well see how that one goes. In comparison to the honey Sage, I would go for this over that
I was in a store that has the loose leaf Tea Friends so thought I would pick it up. They have some misses but usually when I find a hit..I LOVE it. This…meh. Sounds better than it tastes. First of all…don’t drink it hot . Just typical sour hibiscus-rose hip. Cold it’s much better. I can taste the “Amaretto Cherry” part. A little kool-aide and then something a bit weird…maybe the boozy part. It’s drinkable..but I don’t really enjoy it.
Not too long ago I reviewed a Turkish Apple Fig tea from Mesmer. Except that one said Bayram. IDK if they are the same. I can’t remember what it tasted like. I would like to think they are different. Anyway..the apple had some tart to it the first time I tried it And then you get the fig part. It’s named appropriately. And enjoyable..but very forgettable. Would I buy recommend? Ehhhhh. I wish there was an option for maybe
Flavors: Fig, Green Apple
