Flavor is decent, but unremarkable. Unfortunately, the aroma actually detracts from the experience for me. I don’t know if it’s an artificial peach flavor, or what, but it doesn’t smell like a fresh peach at all to me. More like a peach-flavored Jolly Rancher. Blech.

If you want a good peach oolong, you should give their Dancong Aria a shot. Even though it’s an unflavored oolong I actually described it as being “peachy keen”. Yes, my name is Sara Schneider and I am a tea dork. LOL

Thanks for the advice! I wasn’t particularly LOOKING for a good peach oolong—I just got the Oolong Flavors sampler—but perhaps I will try that :)

I prefer the Oolong Peach from Two Guys’ Tea. There are no artificial flavors. It is all natural. Just check out the big picture on their website.

Hmm, didn’t seem as flavorful this time. Still didn’t pull a raspberry piece out of my tiny sample tin, though.

This is very very nice. Robust, full body. Subtle grapefruit flavor. Not acidic or astringent at all. Would like to see a LITTLE more grapefruit come through, and it may in the second steeping as some others have said. Will be sure to post another tasting note when I try that.

A really excellent version of Earl Grey with a hint of sweetness. One of the most soothing black teas I’ve ever had.

It’s rooibos. ::shrug:: Nice, but doesn’t blow me away.

Finally got a good, strong, but not bitter steeping out of this tea. Unfortunately, it still didn’t impress that much. It’s a decent, average Earl Grey. Nothing more.

Steeped it longer and used a bit more leaf in an attempt to get it stronger. Unfortunately, it was a bit too long and it got bitter. Next time I’ll try the regular 5 minutes, but maintain the increase in amount of tea.

Argh. Oversteeped it. Non-committal rating until I prepare it right.

Delightful aroma, both dry in the tin and brewed in the cup. Classic earl gray with pleasing berry overtones.

One must be extremely careful not to steep this too long. It can’t handle a typical 5-minute black tea steeping, despite being mostly Earl Grey. I typically do 3 minutes, and even going to 3:30 I notice some bitterness creeping in.

But when you do it just right, it’s a wonderful cup, and the only Earl Grey blend I’ve ever found that doesn’t ruin the Earl Grey-ness of its base tea.

I drank this. I literally had no reaction to it, positive or negative. Hence, the smack-dab-in-the-middle rating of 50.
