Ummmmm Jasmine Pearls!!! :-D These little beautys I received from Rabs (Thank you!) and they are a wonderful treat. No wait, they’re amazing! I noticed that the little pearls have some “fuzzy” white leaves wrapped in there, which I have never seen in a Jasmine Pearl before so because of that I knew right away this was going to be a great experience. I steeped my little treasures and watched them unfurl and then smelled they delicate (yet stong) aroma. My first sip was pure floral silk rolling around on my tongue, very smooth and nicely scented/flavored with jasmine! These pearls I believe have just beat Teavana’s Jasmine Pearls. I will have to test them side by side to see for sure, but I am almost positive!

Rabs

Hooray! :D

This is actually a pretty good basic black tea. Now I am not very big on black teas, but this one is pleasent and bold which I like! I didn’t really taste any of the notes mentioned in the description though, just tasted like a good black tea.

This is a sweet mapley black tea, hmmm impressive! Thank you Rabs for letting me try this one. I don’t think I could drink this often though, just when in the mood for liquid pancakes hehe.

Cofftea

Yeah that’s pretty much when I have it too- except I have it with pancakes rather than instead of lol. It’s also a good tea to make a latTEA with.

Let me start off by saying I am not a fan of gunpowder green tea so I was expecting to not like this one, but I getting sick and my throat was hurting so since this was mint tea I decided I needed it! To my surprise this wasn’t bad, the mint complimented the taste of the gunpowder green tea… not bad, not bad and my throat was better the next day!

Rabs

Hooray! Glad to hear your throat got better :D

Had a very long and busy weekend so I am backlogging from my teas that I have had over the weekend here and there. This tea is very smooth and naturally sweet with a slight nutty taste to it. I had this right before bed to relax and it got the job done, very enjoyable.

This rooibos is quite tasty and makes for a great dessert tea with some milk and honey! This tastes like amaretto with a slight chocolate taste to it. Almondy/cherryish/chocolatey all in one?! Yes please! Now, it’s rare that I will drink a rooibos tea that’s not blended with another tea, but this is good all on it’s own, but I would bet money that this would be amazing mixed with a smooth And bold black tea… Actually I will have to try that next time!

Daniel Mann - Georgia Tea Co.

It’s great with Vanilla Black or Almond Black.

This is the first tea I have tried from the Georgia Tea Company and I must say it is VERY aromatic; I can smell the sweet fruits with no doubt! This is a naturally sweet tea without adding any sugar. The cherry and strawberry along with the mango and papaya stand out the most to me along with slight floral notes that linger in the background. I had half of this cup hot, which was good and then let it cool down to room temp. and tried it again and it’s even better and would probably be awesome as an iced tea!

TeaEqualsBliss

OH YAY!!!! You joined the Georgia Tea Company Cult…lol…
:)
I have YET to try this one…but…I THINK Daniel was going to send it to me!

-Jessica-

Lol yes, I couldn’t resist! They all sound so yummy! :-)

TeaEqualsBliss

I think I have some samples from my samples (mini samples) that I am sending you!

Have you ever had Sugar Smacks cereal as a kid? Well, if you haven’t try this tea because it tastes EXACTLY like it! This tastes of cinnamon, honey and sweet wheat… a plus in my book!

LiberTEAS

I loved sugar smacks.

Rabs

Is the oolong really that color? I wasn’t a huge Sugar Smacks fan, but to this day purple makes me happy :)

-Jessica-

@LiberTEAS – you’ll totally have to try this one then! If you do, let me know if you think it tastes just like Sugar Smacks! LOL

@Rabs – the leaves are a purple color, but once steeped the tea is an amber color…it would be pretty cool if the tea was also purple though! haha

Rabs

Leaves being purple = awesome
Liquid not being purple = sound of disappointed trombone ;)

Profile

Bio

I am a tea enthusiast who is always looking to try a new tea, but my all time favorite is jasmine pearls…or anything with jasmine in it really. I also am a sushi fanatic and simply can’t live without it. Outside of my fanatasy world of all things tea and sushi I am an executive assistant, mother of 2 and personal taxi/maid and chef service for my little family.

But back to the tea!

I love Jasmine Pearls, just about any White Tea and then we have Pu-erh coming in last as my top three.

However, I still enjoy a good Earl Grey tea, the more bergamot the better! I have a fond place in my heart for Matcha, especially iced Matcha Lattes. Flavored green teas are always fun, but I tend to stay away from the overly grassy tasting ones… they always remind me of a wheatgrass shot!

It takes a special black tea to really win me over, for me I find that they all taste too much alike or tend to be too bitter at times; I think I am more so bored with them.

Oolongs are fairly new to me and I am finding that these are really good and they will probably end up making it as one of my top contenders!

Pu-erh I have yet to try; I am very curious, but a bit scared to try it… something about being aged in a cave just frightens me a bit, but I would like to try one in the very near future :-) Update – I have tried a few pu-erhs and I can’t get enough of them! While they are definitely an acquired taste they are lovely! This has now taken over rooibos in my top 3 teas of choice!
