773 Tasting Notes
good morning! merry christmas!
I have tried SO MANY TEAS over the past few days and haven’t made notes for any, booooo :(
So even though I don’t like posting from my phone I’m gonna try to do it more often.
Yesterday’s movies include 2 documentaries, ‘The Woodmans’ and ‘Cutie and The Boxer’. Both about artists. Both very good.
Today I’m gonna start with ‘56 up’. It’s a series where the filmmaker interviews the same group of British children every 7 years. When I worked at a video store in Philadelphia I got hooked.
I drank this tea last night as I watched an episode of ‘my cat from hell’ at 1am. I had just learned about it at dinner and I was curious. What can I say :)
well my dammann order arrived yesterday so here i am jumping in!
i don’t love cinnamon in my tea, so i knew this wasn’t gonna be a fave, but i was still VERY surprised by how much i liked it. yay win!
if you love movies then watch this.
just do it.
the university where i work is closed until January 2nd.
my goal is to watch 1 documentary and 1 film i haven’t seen from the list in the video link every day.
today i watched 2 documentaries, (A)sexual and Blackfish.
and i currently started the film Post Tenebras Lux.
though it might be too late for it and i might watch an episode from The Top of the Lake instead.
my documentary options feel a little aimless, so if anyone would like to recommend a few i’d love the guidance! :)
definitely stewed apricots yum.
i have plans to go running tomorrow. haven’t run in weeks so it’s gonna be interesting.
i also have a massage scheduled for breakfast hah
now i will embarrass my sister and ask you all to friend her!
cuz i’d love to see her on steepster more http://steepster.com/oddree/
what a yummy tea. i just finished off my blood orange puerh and this is a great variation on the theme. the scent is kapow. and the flavor is a robust smokey dusky orange. like wet winter earth. it stands out. and i like any tea that has enough personality to stand out.
if you are feeling insane, and want to stay feeling insane, here is a ridiculous holiday themed dj mix to enjoy!!
i find the DJ Snake “Bird Machine [Jingle Bells Version]” song especially nutty.
and i feel that this kind of music does a lot to push oneself from a state of over-caffeinated glee over the tipping point and into a hyper crazed freak out!!!
my least favorite American Tea Room tea i’ve tried so far. but i still like it okay. i think it’s just not my thing is all. i’ve kinda been on a rose overload lately.
i’ll give it a rest and taste it again in a week or so.
now hey look!
my tea from Dammann arrived.
nicely done post office. nicely done.
