TTB 2.0 I have a soft spot for hojicha, but recently I’ve been finding that they aren’t all made the same. The more you drink one type of tea, the more you’ll find the small differences.

Aroma: Is a bit faint. Wonder if this is an older sample?
Flavor: This is a nice and calming hojicha. Nothing too in your face for the roasty and toasty flavors. Just the right amount of both. In hindsight, I won’t be doing the Ripple milk anymore. It adds a flavor that isn’t bad, but just doesn’t quite fit in.
Add a bit of kinako powder? Yes, I think so.

I’m a purist but I will try a flavored as long as it doesn’t have artificial flavors.

I will drink any type and love to taste whatever I can get my hands on.

(Purple is not a type of tea it is a cultivar known as TRFK 306/1)
