64 Tasting Notes
Sure if you need a chai and you are locked up in Morrisons with a cup and kettle, go for it. Very smooth for commercial appeal but has no passion! My fav’s (Biochai and Palquin and even CS) aren’t afraid to slap you in the face with flavor & let everyone’s nostrils know what you are drinking. But if you want mellow, nothing wrong with the twinnings.
OMG. I admit to trying every chai that isn’t nailed down, but when someone passed me
a bag of biochai….well I hadn’t known how amazing chai could be. Afterwards, I wasn’t sure how I’d ever go back to lesser chais again (tho Palquin is a good peppery alternative, so its not total doom & gloom)…but then a loose leaf version found me in one of my local haunts and happiness again reigns :) If you love chai, try this one.
How do they make a sugarcookie flavored tea (wo/ a cookie crumb in sight)?
Lovely, light tea that does well with milk. Especially nice that CS teas always can be
made in a mega mug (not like stash teas that get watery). And with milk thistle,
see ma, tea is good for me. So if you want to give your liver some love, sugar cookies are the way forward :)
This was my first tea love back in 97.
An afterdinner tea that is amazing with milk. When it disappeared I was heart broken but the door to tea magic was open. But now its back for everyone to enjoy.
Rich chocolatey flavor with sweet raspberry. Is it wrong to want to fill the pantry with boxes?
