After a bad experience with a milk oolong from DTH, this was my first (the second if we take into account the milky oolong) oolong.

It has become my favourite tea (not taking into account black tea and shou pu erh).

Is sweet, smooth, with a floral and wood touch. Is soft. I really recommend this tea.

This is a good tea for every morning. It has some bitter taste but is not too strong. It also has some smoke flavour (really soft).

I’ll improve the review after some more brewings.

This is my favourite tea when I do my own massala chai with cinnamon, cardomom, clove, black pepper and milk. I brew the CTC tea with all those ingredients with boiling water and then I add some milk. Is delicious.

This tea alone is really malty and strong, perfect for those who like a strong and malty lack tea in the morning. I can feel the cafeine punch after drinking it.

This is in my opinion an artificial milk flavour. It’s too strong and ‘too milky’.

This is not a bad tea, but I find it with less flavour or at least softer than the dian hong. Is malty and it has some sweet afetertaste but is too soft for me.

This is a not a very special shou. In my opinion there are better options for this price.

I brew it western style with boiling water and I found it smooth, malty and perhaps with a little cocoa touch. Is not bitter but isn’t also sweet. I don’t know how to describe it well.

Flavors: Smooth

Boiling 1 min, 45 sec 5 g 4 OZ / 130 ML

Bio

I love every kind of tea, but my ABC are:

-Black: for a good shot in the morning, I love assam ctc and strong english breakfast (both with milk).

-Green: for spring and summer are the best in my opinion, I love Long jing and an ji bai pian.

-Oolong: For those days when you need something not to strong and not to weak. Nothing like Darjeeling and Nilgiri oolongs.

-Pu erh: For autum and winter. I love shou pu, I love it to be mellow, medium bodied or with chocolate notes.

I also have this blog where I upload some reviews of what I drink: http://finetealeaves.com/
