Alright so I know most companies say to remove things like jelly beans & gum, buuuut I don’t listen…. like ever, so I kept em in there.

Steeped this up extra strong & poured it over ice. This is fruity, strawberry, a bit tart I swear it actually tastes like jelly beans…. ok no it tastes more like red gumballs. It’s quite tasty.

Received this as a sample with my order.

It’s definitely mango smelling. But man that 5g was barely anything. Had this iced & it was super delicious, mango, fruity & lightly sweet.
I would have to do a side by side with mango madness, but if I remember correctly they taste very similar. I may stock both & keep this one for a night time iced tea.

I need to go pick these new teas up soon, before they all sell out or something annoying like that. Hahaha.

Alright third times a charm, my third time trying to write this note today.

I received this from Courtney

So it’s blueberry (ish- definitely not Northern Ontario Blueberry.) I’m not getting any cream cheese or Danish flavours. I dunno I was so excited to try this & it’s just meh.
I do have more on it’s way from someone else, maybe it was just this sample, a lil cross contamination perhaps.

Don’t hold you breath. As I understand this reblend is mostly meh

Fiddling

I eagerly scooped up a pouch of this after it was reblended. I’ve tried it twice, and both times all I got was blueberry and no cream cheese. I’m hoping I will figure out a way to coax out the cream cheese danish bits of the flavor before I reach the end of the pouch, but I’m a bit skeptical.

drank PU-ERH MAPLE CHAI by Tealux

ERMAHGERD!

I got this as an extra sample with my recent order (they sent me 2 new pu-erh samples).
It smells soooo delicious, spicy, maple goodness!
The taste oh so divine. Probably the YUMMIEST chai I have ever had. The addition of maple makes it near perfection. This would benefit greatly from some added pure Canadian maple syrup.

hmmm may need to check this one out

So I’m not entirely sure that this is what I had last night. It wasn’t labeled but I did give some to my mom, which is labeled & looks like this tea.
I’m also pretty sure I took it from the traveling tea box the last time around.

It smelt creamy & coffee like. However once steeped it was light on flavour & smell. Probably a result of age & storing conditions.
I think that if this were fresh it would be quite good.
So not going to give it a rating due to that.

Digging through my basket of samples/swaps. I think I must have received this in a swap. No idea from who, or what it is.

It steeps up a super dark red colour, there are some apples & a huge blackberry in it.
It’s sweet & tart & maple like. It’s quite good, & would probably be fantastic iced. Just wish I knew what it was.
As it cooled it was super tart, it could have used a larger mug with more water.

but overall a nice surprise.
I’m pretty sure there was maple in here, because this morning the infuser was stuck to my counter.

Received this as a sample with my order.
I’ve been going through my sample sizes since Sunday trying to make my stash more manageable.
I found this tea to be mostly minty, lightly so, with some creamyness. It’s nice & light & I swear the chocolate settled to the bottom because the last couple of sips tasted like chocolate cake batter.

Backlog from Saturday

Mmmmm this smells so sweet & toffee like.
It tastes delicious too. Sweet, but not overly so & definitely toffee. There’s no smoke here, which I’m usually scared about, but was really looking forward to it, in this one.
As it cooled it maintained the toffee flavours, and developed some smokyness, I really wish there was more of that.
I find the black base on this quite light.

Picked this one up yesterday, needed a lil change up between my other pu-erhs.
This smells like those strawberry marshmallows.
This is a very light pu-erh & has a very thin mouth feel. Not exactly what I’m used to in regards to pu-erh. It doesn’t have much strawberry flavour & it ended up bitter, I’ve never had that happen with pu-erh.
This feels/tastes like a regular black. Every other pu-erh is thick, full & earthy.

I think I may pick up an unflavoured pu-erh & add some of my favourite herbals.

Also received this in one of my orders.
I brought a bunch of samples over to my moms, when she said she should have another coffee, I told her she should have tea instead.
About 5 mins later she asked what kind if tea I was making her. She chose this one.

She said it was too sweet for her.
I had a sip, so technically this isn’t a tasting note. It was oolong, creamy, buttery, slightly floral & definitely pineapple. Im not usually, or ever a pineapple fan, but I would like to try this again, because the sip I had wad quite good.

the one from butiki is delicious! and the one from lupicia wasn’t too bad so i’m thinking maybe it’s just one of those really tasty tea+fruit combos

TeaBrat

I like the one from Lupicia but I’ve never had this
