6768 Tasting Notes
Ash-Leeeeeee! Thanks :)
Sweet and mouth watering. Milky and creamy. A spec of natural saltiness…just a touch…barely there.
Very nice Milk Oolong!
Thanks Daisy Chubb
I am afraid tho
It smells like, dirt, fish, and spearmint. It looks like tar.
The amount of mint flavor-wise is MUCH appreciated…it sits well on the tongue. Any less I would have had to dump the cup. It’s this cuppa’s saving grace.
I like the mint, can’t taste the creme, the pu-erh smells awful, but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be based on several reviews. I’m a mint freak tho. I can finish the cup but wouldn’t order it.
Very glad I got to try it tho :)
Oh noes! Glad the Milk Oolong turned out better, now I feel like a bad person for sending it to you haha! But if you ever have to dump the cup, I won’t judge, I almost had to too! But you never know until you try, one persons fish cup is the other’s.. treasure.. ah!
It smells like dirt, fish, & spearmint, and look like tar – but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be = hahahahaaha .. I absolutely love your descriptions, but am sooooo NOT going to try this :P
DaisyChubb – Don’t feel that way at all!!!! I LOVE trying any/all tea!!!!! I’m so grateful I got to try these teas and I wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for you! Thanks again!!!! :)
This is WONDERFUL!
This has the perfect amount of sweet to the perfect amount of chai spices to work as a great tag-team in this flavor combo! The two conflicting flavor combos sing PAULA ABDUL’S Opposites Attract here!!! The sweet is a nice sweet – NOT overdone and the spices lovely – also NOT overdone. This is sweet, spicy, juicy, fruity, soothing, warming, A TREAT. The notes of cinnamon are like a faint fireball jawbreaker…again NOT over the top but nicely done! I REALLY LIKE THIS mostly because of the ratio of each flavor coming together in unison.
Another tea I get to cross off my TEA Bucket List thanks to Daisy Chubb!!!!
This reminds me of DT’s Santa’s Helper and I really like that! I think that one is a little more mintier and candy-like but this one is darned dandy, too!
It’s chocolate and mint and sweet and satisfying…might have to make some minty DT purchases soon! :) Thanks again DaisyChubb!!!!
This kind of smells like Hay.
It infuses to a gentle yet bright yellowish color. The taste is a cross between a green and an oolong with natural hay or wheat flavors and slightly floral notes too!
This is pretty good! A neat tea! I really like that it’s a Vietnamese Oolong :)
Thanks Angrboda! This is the first tea I have tried of theirs!
This is strange in many ways! DRY – this sort of looks like a black tea with herbs, lemongrass, and some kind of shell in it. Once infused I could tell it was a green afterall. Both before and after infusing this smells…odd…like cheap grassy green tea, herbally herbs, and cologne??? The post infusion color of the tea is that of a medium black maybe…quite dark for a green tea tho! It taste bitter and sour – I can also taste a sour lemon but a grassy green tea that isn’t very pleasing.
I totally agree with Angrboda’s findings of it being insanely bitter and I didn’t even infuse all that long…maybe a minute. The lemon notes are the only reason I am giving it SOME points at all…if it weren’t so bitter I would give it about 30+ more points but it’s very distracting.
Regardless I am happy I got to try this! :)
CHEERS!
I was FINALLY able to try this one! It’s been on my list for a while…Special Thanks to the lovely DaisyChubb!!!! Thanks!
This could just be the best flavored Yerba Mate or at the very least one of the best flavored Yerba mate I have ever tried! The chocolate flavors are great and that little bit of berry is pretty awesome, too!The Chicory is just-right!
Wonderful flavor in this!~
That sounds kind of like exotica!
