Malty, Malty, Malty…nomnomnom. YAY! I finally got to try this thanks to LiberTEAs!!!! I’ve been wanting to try this forever! I refrained from reviewing this within the first few sips because I was a little bummed it wasn’t over-the-top chocolate! Now…before you take that comment the wrong way…here is what I mean by that…
When I opened the package I was AMAZED at the amount of chocolate-goodness I saw and smelled!!! I LOVED IT! When I infused it…much of that goodness faded away! BUT…the plus side! This is Mate…and THIS is how flavored Mate SHOULD taste – at least – for my palate! This is FAB! Altho it’s not intensely chocolate-tasting it tones down some of the Mate factors I get bored with and makes it VERY interesting! AND the chocolate does overpower the Mate! So…I’m cool with that! Having said that…the part I like most about this Malted Chocolate is that it actually tastes like MALTED Chocolate! It reminds me of a Malted Chocolate Milkshake minus the funky aftertaste! Nom.
So…mission accomplished in more ways than one, eh!? So…all things considered I am rating this one high! The reason that it isn’t a 100 is because I would have LOVED even more chocolate. teahee…
