6768 Tasting Notes
Since I was born and raised in Buffalo I have a sweet-spot (pardon the pun) for Orange Chocolate. And since the name of this flavored black contains the word BLISS which is not only part of my screen name but my real name…I was intrigued on many levels!
This is tasty! Straight-up!
The Black Tea and Orange stand out a bit more than the chocolate and is smoother in the beginning of the sip…by the time you get to the end of the sip the ‘chocolate’ taste comes forward more and is more like a darker chocolate than a sweet milk chocolate.
Regardless – this is a nice blend of flavors and one I would certainly suggest to others who enjoy and appreciate the featured ingredients! I will have a longer review over at Sororitea Sisters in the near future! :)
Cheers!
This is fin-NOM-i-nal!
The aroma is INTENSE and I love that about this offering! A party for the senses!
The ingredients are plump and visually-FUN!
The taste is awesome! The Assam and Ceylon is D-Lish! The Orange Peel and Blueberries are my FAVE! Citrus and Berry yet EG flavors thrown in and jammin’ well together!
I did three infusions with this.
The 2nd infusion was a tad more orange than berry with the EG still present. The 3rd infusion there was more blueberry but the berry was more soothing and mellow than before. The Citrus and EG flavors fell in the background and were subtle but a nice addition to the Blueberry!
I really like this one! A nice flavored EG! AND…the only BLUEBERRY Flavored EG in the Steepster Database to date!!! Woot!
I’ll admit the ingredients made me nervous because many of them I do not favor…but…it was Cherry-Fruity but not as tart as I thought it would be…there was a nice yet unexpected smoothness towards the end of the sip, too. I’m glad this wasn’t as puckery as I thought it would be. There is still a lot of punch there but it’s pretty good for a hibiscusy tisane!
I have been waiting for someone to try a MAPLE White Tea and Shanti is the first I have tried…and it’s pretty good. The aroma is a gentle yet vibrant maple and the white tea prettiness really comes thru nicely. The color is darker than most white’s I have seen but it’s a neat shade! The taste is like a candied maple and slight floral flavor…very soothing! Fairly mouth-watering, too!
backlogging…tremendous!
Hello….I am new to Steepster and plan on posting more reviws. I love Masala Chai; although, I haven’t tried this one in particular. After many years of drinking quite a few M. Chai teas, I had one at my sisters quite a few years ago.Needless to say, it had Black Pepper in it. I purchased some Chai from Enjoying Tea with Black Pepper, and I loved it. I was going to have more of it and review it, but I CAN’T FIND IT!!! I have so many teas, it does happen from time to time. I need to inventory my teas….seriously. Anyway, black pepper does give it the extra kick I like.
I startrd following you, because I’m trying to follow people who review lots of teas, not just occasionally. I’ll try to post a new review every couple of days. I enjoy your reviews, and your passion for tea. Steep on Bliss. :)
Thanks so much for your notes – so sorry it has taken this long for me to write back – I have been having problems with Steepster, but, I review teas everyday at least somewhere! LOL – I seriously LOVE steepster…I don’t want to NOT log in everyday but I’m having so many problems with SLOW pages loading, etc…however, if you follow the Sororitea Sisters Blog – we would LOVE that…we have between 2 and 5 reviews EVERY DAY over there! We are also on Facebook! :) Thanks again!
Hey, I found my Chai Tea today, and will post a review later tonight or tomorrow. I’ve been reviewing teas hot and Iced, then averaging their scores. I’ve never iced Chai tea, but I’m hoping this will be good. My pages have been loading slow the last couple of days too….it can be very frustrating!
Hey, I bookmarked Sororitea Sisters a few months back, and check it every now and then, but I didn’t know you reviewed there until I startrd following you here on Steepster! I’ll follow the reviews more closely there. :)
Blueberry & Earl Grey! I bet that’s an amazing combination!
