Not my favorite Jasmine…nor is it my favorite Red Leaf Tea – TEA – but it’s ‘ok’. I’m not really into many Jasmines to be honest so I may not be the best advice on them. This is a very florally Jasmine tho for those interested – with a floral jasmine aftertaste that lingers
I’m listing this separately because I don’t think it’s the same as their Earl Grey Bravo AND it’s bagged. I didn’t care for it as much as the Bravo because it was very pale in flavor compared to the Bravo Loose Leaf. It wasn’t bad…it just was a really REALLY light version of a black tea and barely-there EG flavoring…
I’m very happy that Verdant told me to rinse twice :)
My first ‘real’ infusion – post rinses – was quite pleasant – but still full of natural flavor! The aroma wasn’t overwhelming and the taste was a bit nutty with a tad of sweetness for a pu-erh. There was a slight earth-green type taste in the background, too.
More infusions coming soon…
I wish I knew about the rinsing process for this one, seeing as how I only did it once and got quite a bite out of it with my first sip. I’ll definitely try it again tomorrow!
This was a pretty impressive flavored bagged tea! Thanks LiberTEAs! The first steep was a tad tart-berry with floral-rose highlights but nothing I couldn’t handle. I must say I enjoyed the 2nd steep a better tho…the tartiness was minimal and the berry shined thru with the rose underneath…it was juicier without being as tart as the first steep! Nice!
