Now that this tea has come back, I’m drinking my tin full I stocked up on in April. I’m trying that ‘chocolate creme brulee’ latte. This time I made it with 4 PS instead of 2 and frothed my milk with the chocolate agave. It’s actually so much yummier than the first attempt at making this recipe. I now see why they recommend using 4 PS… It’s just so much tea. Haha, anyway, it’s really yummy I have to say. Better than on it’s own. This is probably my new go to for having this tea! Besides straight up with sugar. The chocolate adds a nice touch of sweetness to the jasmine and creme brulee tastes.

drank Gaba Guava by DAVIDsTEA

This tea smells amazing! And although it has coconut in it, I don’t care cause it just smells so good. I’m trying it hot first and its really quite good. I don’t really know what guava tastes like but I assume that’s one of the fruits I am tasting. Also, I didn’t like Guava Cadabra at all so I’m pleasantly surprised I like this one, cause I was hoping I would. I can’t say I don’t taste a little bit of coconut though, it isn’t overwhelming. Other than that I like the fruitiness to this tea. I assume it would be a refreshing iced tea as well!

drank French Vanilla Chai by Twinings

I was away for the weekend, and this is one of the teas they had where I was, so I gave it a try. French Vanilla Chai? That sounded interesting. But I don’t really like vanilla so it was just okay for me. I also added honey cause I couldn’t find any sugar. I think I was also tasting the cardamom, which was also a downside for me. Won’t be having it again, but it was drinkable.

So, I found a sample from Ost that I hadn’t tried yet and it’s pretty good – though I feel like it would’ve been better if it was fresher. I had to add sugar to bring out the maple flavour more, but other than that I taste the oolong, which has a creamy milk note to it, almost like quangzhou… Also a slight vegetal taste, but overall its a nice maple tea !

Decided to try this since I started like chai tea lattes. I’m not usually a big fan of chai but some of them are okay. This one is quite nice with a little bit of milk and sugar in it. I taste the cinnamon, ginger first and the other spices secondly. It’s not too spicy, which I appreciate. It’s a nice tea to enjoy once in a while – and especially on a cold day spent indoors!

drank Walnut Orange Scone by DAVIDsTEA

I don’t know why I waited so long to review this, I tried it when it first came out and have ever since loved it! I’m not getting the ‘scone’ aspect to it though. I just really love the orange and walnut flavours along with the delicate white tea base.

This is not something I would expect to like – but I tried it anyway – just so I could review it. I had to add sugar of course, but it’s not bad. Drinkable. I taste the vanilla more than the mint, and I do get a taste of rootbeer as well. But not overly powering. I wouldn’t get more of this tea, but its just okay.

Wow, this is very lemony! I used one of my free teas on a cup of this iced today with some agave. It’s pretty good. As it is really lemon flavoured and could be a great lemonade (if it was made sweeter) It also had a little bit of a kick to it towards the end of my cup, from the chili peppers in the blend. Not too much though, which is good for me since I don’t really like spicy things at all. I really like this tea iced, though, I’ll have to try it hot next.

This is the only one I liked out of the new release, it’s nice with a little sugar in it. I can definitely taste the apple, and the other fruits in it as well. The green tea gives it a light taste to it. I like it.

I ventured into the mall yesterday to try the 2 new teas, and this one I did NOT like. Caramel and coconut? Two things I am not a fan of at all, so ultimately this was not my cup of tea. I don’t mind chamomile, it’s just the caramel and coconut I hate. Meh.

Hi, I’m Michelle and I am pretty much obsessed with tea. Some people say I have a problem. I mostly drink DavidsTea – but I am open to trying other ones too.

Things I LOVE in tea:
-Fruits (especially peach, melon, strawberry, banana, berries etc)
-Chocolate
-Lemongrass
-Cinnamon

Things I don’t MIND in tea:
-Stevia
-Vanilla
-Pineapple
—Mint & Peppermint

Things/ingredients I HATE in tea:
-Coconut (Rare exceptions)
-Nuts (Some exceptions)
-Caramel/toffee
-Earl Grey (Bergamot)
-Rice/fennel
-Coffee beans
-Bamboo
-Lavender

I am quite picky with my teas. If the primary ingredients are mixed with something I don’t tend to like – I will try it and its possible I’ll like it. But if the tea is mostly/primarily something I hate – I won’t even try it.
I mostly like Herbals, Green, Oolong, White and Black teas.
