I tried this tea for the first time as part of their advent calendar. I was really looking forward to this, since I have a sweet tooth and I really like dessert teas – not to mention, the strong raspberry scent and the white chocolate!
Steeped, the tea is a light brown colour with a strong raspberry scent that kind of overpowers the tea (and seemed a little artificial at times). I don’t know why, but as with many DavidsTea, the tea is covered by a thin layer of oil. It was really creamy and sweet though, which is probably attributed to the white chocolate.
Overall, I really enjoyed the tea! It’s described as a spring time tea, but it felt like a festive drink that reminded me of homely Christmas parties. I would recommend adding more leaves for a stronger brew.
