I’m the Director of US Operations for TeaGschwendner. My job is to bring the strength and experience of one of the world‘s leading tea companies to the United States. TeaGschwendner has more than 145 retail shops in 9 countries on four continents and provides tea to wholesale partners around the world.
Backed by TeaGschwendner‘s 30 years of international experience, I’ve spent the last five years spearheading forays into every aspect of the US tea business. We opened and tested three retail models (Tea Retail only, Tea Cafe, and 66 seat Tea Bistro with full kitchen) plus an E-Commerce website and national wholesale program.
In the summer of 2009 TeaGschwendner shifted from testing the US market to pursuing national expansion. Today the company has 4 outlets in 3 states and is searching for prime locations in 14 other cities across the country.
