I’m glad to have this one back in my cupboard, since it’s one of the “Frank” 52Teas I have the fondest memories of. I loved the soft, creamy lemon-dessert vibe this one had going on. Super delicious! It’s also one of the green tea blends that convinced me I didn’t hate green tea, after spending years believing that I did, so I’ll always remember it for that.

I used 1 tsp of leaf for today’s cup, and gave it 2.5 minutes in water cooled to around 180 degrees. It’s pretty much just as I remember – deliciously creamy, with a soft, sweet lemon flavour running throughout. It’s light and airy, like a mousse, with less sharpness than you’d typically expect from something lemon flavoured.

The base tea is mostly unobtrusive, which is a positive thing when the overall flavour is so light and dreamy. I catch little snippets of a mild, grassy-vegetal nature, and they remind me that this is a green tea, but nothing more than that.

I’d happily repurchase this one, if it were to be reblended! My rating (from the original) remains unchanged.

Not really a huge fan of lemon flavors, so wasn’t incredibly excited to taste this, but it’s decent. VERY lemony. I don’t really notice the marshmallow flavor, but there is certainly a very smooth flavor to this tea. The lemon overpowers it though. Kind of like a slap of lemon to the face. Drinkable, but not something I would ever buy for myself.

This stuff smells like a frosted lemon cookie! The first sip I took was a little too citrusy for me, but it mellowed out quickly. The taste isn’t as potent as a frosted lemon cookie, but the tea still holds some of that flavor I could smell when I opened the packet. It’s good and it is light, but it doesn’t quite captivate me. I like it, I’m not in love and I’d drink it again!

hmmm not my favorite. I’m fairly picky when it comes to lemon flavored things but I was hoping the marshmallow root would make it ok as I absolutely love marshmallow root in tea. Unfortunately, the lemon flavor was just too strong for me. I might have steeped it for too long though. I’m going to try again with a shorter steep time and see what happens.

This tea was not an overwhelming in your face lemon flavor, but more of a sweet mellow creamy citrus taste. So mellow that I had to break out in song: Have you never been mellow? Have you never tried to find a comfort from inside you?

Yep, it was that mellow…:)

This is another purr-fect creation from 52teas. The Yun Wu green tea base is an excellent launch pad for the sweet lemony notes of this tea. Lemon and green tea naturally pair well but the use of Yun Wu combined with the marshmallow root adds the perfect touch of creamy sweetness that avoids any bitterness in the brew.

This tea is so light and fluffy. The citrus is mild, not sour at all. The green tea is mild too. Cold, this is just refreshing and nice. I especially like the pillowy marshmallow root.

Finally got through some very much needed house cleaning today, in which I guzzled through the last of a coldbrew mason jar I had in the fridge. Thankfully I had set up another mason jar of coldbrew last night — this tea! — and just needed to strain it to continue getting much-needed chug-style hydration.

This blend is a 2018 reblend. The dry leaf has a lovely lemon cream aroma… reminds me of Tazo Lemon Loaf on the nose. Coldbrewed, I’m getting a very refreshing wet rock minerality and fresh damp grassiness from the green tea, with a somewhat sweet/creamy lemon flavor that retains a citrus sharpness toward the end of the sip. There is also a mellow herbaceous/hay quality in the background, which I’m guessing is from the lemon grass.

Bright, refreshing, and very thirst-quenching! Exactly what I needed to recharge after cleaning-cardio.

I feel like a jerk for panning my third tea in a row from the almost always fabulous 52 Teas. They will never lose me as a customer; they make beautiful and interesting fresh teas. I just have been having a hard time with my tea to water ratio. And it’s only been this brand that I keep messing up. I find the other brand of tea that I tend to stock up on is a bit more forgiving.

I ADORE the “other” mist that 52 Teas makes so I thought I’d try this one. I now remember trying this one several years ago in a swap, and at the time, I found the lemony flavor to be overbearing. Well, oops, I did it again. Maybe I overdid the ratio of tea to water this time, but I didn’t taste anything but lemonlemonlemon. I love marshmallow and mint in my tea so I was sad not to get any of that. And I’m not a fan of tart. So the quality of the tea was quite good. The flavor was just a miss for my personal taste.

Yes, seriously delicious. Especially when this is exactly what you feel like drinking on a day which started out with rain, mist, and cold feet. Just the right amount of everything.
