USPS said my order wasn’t coming till Monday so I was psyched to check my mail last night and find these already arrived!

First off I like that they come in bigger bags now, although I’m guessing the need to make the labels bigger played in that too. Over the seasons I was not drinking iced tea I lost my ability to carefully open the smaller packets these came in last year.

I did the usual steeping of the bag in 2 cups of water then transferring it to a pitcher filled with ice and cold water. I then put the bag in a quart of water to cold steep it for a second steep since getting 2 uses out of these bags is great.

I always think these taste better after chilling in the fridge overnight so I didn’t even try it last night, but it was definitely the first thing I did this morning. Straight out of the fridge there wasn’t much flavor, but as it warmed at room temperature, out came the pink lemonade flavor. You can definitely smell the cotton candy in here over any other flavors, but you don’t taste it. It does its job at just adding sweetness, which is great because sometimes the grapefruit seems a bit heavy, especially as it gets too warm.

When it’s right it tastes just like a mix of pink lemonade and iced tea, minus the it being super sweet. I’m sure if you do sweeten it, it’ll be even better, but I quite like it how it is.

Honestly this might become my favorite SBT already.

Mmmmm! Can’t wait for mine to get here.

We finished our gallon of Razzleberry last night, so I refilled the dispenser with this right away. It is already almost completely gone. That’s right, in 24 hours with only two people drinking it.

When I saw the name I was afraid it would taste like the horrible iced tea with lemon that is so common. You know, the cheap, acid tea with ultra acidic fake lemon? But I knew Frank wouldn’t do that to us. No, he wouldn’t. And he didn’t.

He created a wonderful blend that is actually fairly subtle. Hubby surprised me by absolutely loving it and drinking glass after glass today. It is super hot and muggy here and every Sunday he and Sam go romp in the woods and fields, so he really wanted to tank up on this when they got home.

There is a very pretty reddish glow in the color. The tea base is really nice, as always, and lemon, cotton candy, and raspberry come next. The word “candy” comes foremost in my mind when I think of describing this, but not super sweet, cloying, tooth rotting candy. Just nice candy flavor. I am so glad I bought a bunch of these. I think I am going to have to order more.

O-M-G!!! WHAT IS THIS??!

IT IS MAGICAL!

IT IS AMAZING!

IT IS THE BEST ICED TEA I HAVE EVER EVER HAD!!!!

Man, and I thought the other SBT iced teas were amazingly delicious. How could tea ever be improved upon again? Well, Frank did it. This is perfection! Frank has made THE BEST iced tea IN THE UNIVERSE! I can’t even describe what it tastes like. It tastes like Heaven. It’s naturally sweet without being sugary (unless you add sugar, of course). It’s slightly lemon-y…and a whole lot of delicious! Ahh, sooo good! :D

This is the ONE new one I wanted to try. I take it by your note that it’s pretty good hahaha.

Frank seriously needs to blend some more ASAP. My in-laws came to visit this weekend and drank all my iced tea! :(

Needed to make iced tea tonight (because it’s ICED TEA WEATHER at long last, PEOPLE!) and I found one last bag of this among the three of so I have of rainbow sherbet.

So, I was making this while making dinner and added more sugar than I usually do – like, a tablespoon more, because I forgot this makes a half gallon and not a whole gallon. But you know what? Even though it still tasted like pink lemonade in sherbet form (still has an ice creamy texture thing going on, which I found off putting last time), it was pretty good. Good enough that the boyfriend said “what’s this?” and I told him honestly and he still took a sip! And then he proceeded to ask for a glass.

Which I gave him after I picked my jaw up off the floor. Figures he’d like a tea when I’m in the middle of a sipdown. Maybe I should take my chances with the rainbow sherbet and see what happens…

This one is SO GOOD! I think this is the best SBT I have tried so far. On first taste I thought this one tastes very similar to SBT cotton candy, but with a bit of raspberry candy taste. Then I read the description and learned I was dead on. Ha ha (I got it right for once). I definitely get a pink lemonade taste in the after taste.

I brewed this one in 2 cups boiling water for 3 minutes then added ice and cold water. I added 2 tsp sugar to the whole 2 quarts of tea.

It so hot out right now, I was thinking I am going to enjoy this one all weekend, but I doubt it will last that long.

Edit: Re-steeped. This one is actually better on the re-steep! The flavours are still strong and I get much more pink lemonade flavour.

Good to know! I was JUST wondering what this newer creation of his is like compared to the others from last year.

Another awesome iced tea! I’ve said it before, but I’m really, really impressed with these. This one is no exception. As soon as I opened the packet, I could smell Pink Lemonade, just as I remember it from my childhood. From the first sip, this tastes almost exactly like Pink Lemonade too, only with less sugar and the bonus of being in tea form. I’m glad Frank pointed out that there’s cotton candy flavouring in the mix here, because I could taste that almost immediately and I probably would have been a bit confused! It’s the cotton candy that provides the “pink” here, I think (ooh, rhyme!!), which is them complimented beautifully by a relatively strong, but not bitter or overpowering, lemon taste.

This is another one of those flavours I would have thought it shouldn’t be possible to recreate as tea. Apparently it is, though! This is the perfect choice for the hot, summery day that today has become. It’s sweet, tasty, refreshing, and it’s one of the only cold drinks that keeps my caffiene cravings at bay! I don’t know how I managed before I found these. They’re simply amazing! Great work, Frank!

Backlog:

If I had to choose a favorite between the SBT Lime Cola and the SBT Pink Lemonade, I’d have a difficult time choosing … and I think that the lime cola would win out only narrowly because the Lime cola works well as first a cold-brewed tea, and then I can resteep (hot-brew) the pouch for a second half-gallon of tea. Unfortunately, I wasn’t very successful with the cold-brew of the Pink Lemonade, and so I have to hot brew the pouch, and the second infusion of the hot brew … just isn’t flavorful enough for me to go through the effort. HOWEVER … the Pink Lemonade is so tasty that it’s actually worth it to me to buy the pouch for just one half-gallon of tea.

So … perhaps taste wise, the Pink Lemonade wins out over the Lime Cola. But value wise, the Lime Cola wins.

This is really, really, really good. I love all the flavors in this and I can taste them all: the lemon, the raspberry, and the sweet cotton candy notes. This tastes like a trip to the county fair. It’s sweet, tart, tangy and just plain YUM!

A really spectacular iced tea. Amazingly good.

This one is pretty good but not especially memorable either way. At least I don’t hate it… but I was hoping for stronger pink lemonade taste.

I cold brewed this one overnight, and it was good the next day – a hint of lemon, but it wasn’t until the day after when I was finishing it off that this really was delicious. At that point it was almost like the lemonade and sweet “pink” flavor had settled in. So far I really like this SBT and the Mango Peach one.

Backlog & sipdown!

Actually made up the full pitcher of this the other day, but I find that it’s far too weak if I used the recommended amount of water, so it got about half instead. It wasn’t bad, but mostly just tasted like an unsweetened Nestea (lemon black). Can’t really say what would make it “pink” in the first place, so I’m not sure what I was expecting, haha.

Decent, overall, but the iced tea sachets are generally not convenient for me.
