From A.C. Perch's Thehandel

In the southern part of India (Blue Mountains) the garden Chamraj is placed, one of the world’s highest tea gardens.
The leaves from these gardens are harvested from over 100 years old Camelia Sinensis tea-bushes.
Nilgiri Frost Tea is a very special tea which is produced during January and February, where the cold sets in heights above 2,000 meters.
It is not a question of harsh cold, but of moderate cold, where the cold is reflected on the leaves of the bush.
Because of the effects of the cold, the aromas in the tea-leaves are very intense.
The leaves contain a large amount of moisture and are rolled relatively hard for south Indian teas.
This tea impresses with its aromatic freshness and notes of muscat.

Recommended preparation: 100°C water/10 g. per liter water.

Time: 5 minutes.
