From A.C. Perch's Thehandel

First Flush Darjeeling TOP Namring (Upper) is the first First Flush we got home this year. A the for real First Flush enthusiasts.

A slightly sweet and elegant taste of nut and honey.

Recommended preparation: 100 ° C water / 6 g. Per. ltr. water.

Pulling time: 6 minutes.

2021 The harvest has been significantly less rain than in previous years and this has affected the total amount. Fortunately, it has not gone beyond the quality which is excellent, despite a lower total harvest yield.

A.C. Perch Advent 2021 Day 24

A day late for this tea, but I hope everyone had a lovely day (if you celebrate today), and a lovely day regardless!

This tea is quite nice. I steeped it a bit lower and shorter than recommended (yesterday I steeped it as recommended and there was a bit of bitterness I wasn’t fond of). There is a floral-ness that’s very Darjeeling-esque here and it’s quite lovely. I didn’t pick up too much else, but overall enjoyed my cup. Plenty more to enjoy as this came in an oversized container for day 24!
