Enjoyed this one despite it being a rooibos – I wish I’d picked it up sooner so I could have cold-brewed it, as I think it’s definitely best as an iced tea. Can’t recall specifics about the flavour right now, but I did enjoy it.

I really like cantaloupe teas, when they’re done well.

This is an example of a cantaloupe tea that is done really well. I think I could probably drink only this tea for a week straight and not get sick of it. Of course, I’d deeply miss having variety in my tea drinking, but I don’t think I’d be sick of this one. I can taste every part of the flavour profile: the refreshing, sweet and supple cantaloupe notes, the little bit of acidity/tang from the lime (very much like a drop or two of lime juice added to each sip) and the warming, tickle-y quality of the ginger. It’s fresh, and inventive – and accurate. Sometimes I feel like the weird name concepts for AQ2T blends are just over the top and meant to make a blend sound more fancy/elevated than it actually is: but this one just delivers…
