knittingopera Swap Advent Calendar 2025 – Day 13
Theme: A song that gets stuck in your head
Song: Wizards in Winter by Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Happy 2026, tea friends! I’m finally back from my holiday time away from home, partially spent in Napoli with my father-in-law’s family, and partially at my mother’s house in Kansas City. Good times were had, but I’m so happy to be back home with my usual comforts and my usual routine. And my tea collection! XP

So, now I have more than half of all of my advents to get to, and I’ve decided to just do it casually, rather than trying to do each day’s selections all on the same day. I’ll still do them in order, just over a longer time period. I’m jumping back in with Marjorie’s first, since I would like to finish it in a more timely fashion.

Love the name, and the song pairing for this one. The tea itself is decent, it has a nice berry fruitiness that isn’t medicinal. However, I’m not a fan of Adagio’s green tea, and I feel like I’m tasting the most of it, despite it being the lowest in the list of the three bases here (green rooibos, white, green). A perfectly nice cuppa though!
