The flavor notes are light bergamot, pretty fruity, somewhat over run with ceylon tea, a rich tea. It feels not bad to drink in the afternoon/evening.

In the morning, I really didn’t like it. It felt really bad, it tasted off and I really didn’t like it. Then again, I’m an Assam guy in the morning, so there’s a big difference.

When I first tried it, I absolutely hated it. It tasted weak, and I was confused as to why my Iraqi friend liked it.
As time went on, I reeeeeeally began to enjoy it. Now it’s every day. Help.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND SMALLER CUPS WITH THIS TEA.

All in all, if you’re gonna get a cheap bagged tea, this is a great choice. I’ve got 5 bags on me at all times.

edit:

Still going strong.
This is my go to afternoon tea and evening tea.

A correction: in the part where I said small cups, it’s not needed. small cups for a stronger cup, bigger cups for a lighter, more slow caffeine kick.

Either way, enjoy the Ahmad.

I drink this tea every day, and have been for five years or so, one bag for two mugs. It’s my fuel and my default. I think the flavor is good though I would prefer less Bergamot (really just want a straight English Breakfast). I steep it briefly out of fear of too much caffeine, but on the second steep I leave it in the cup, sometimes ad nauseam… Anyway, the KEY reason I buy this tea is that it seems to be one of the few teas left (perhaps the only?) that you can buy in decent bulk (100-bag boxes) and in which the bags are not individually wrapped in plastic sleeves. The plastic sleeves drive me nuts — so wasteful, of resources and time. As soon as Twinings and others switched to those a few years ago, I devoted myself to Ahmad.
I get it at Sahadi’s in Brooklyn, they have a good selection.

I just purchased a 200g can of this tea and don’t regret it at all. All I’m afraid of is that it’s going to go fast (I steeped a heaping teaspoonful in a little more than a cup of boiling water for slightly over 4 minutes). I had a few sips before adding sugar and milk, and the taste was great. The citrus notes from the bergamot are neither overwhelming nor too subtle, but just about right to make this a great tasting tea however you want to have it (sweet or unsweetened, with milk or without).

I’m drinking this right now. A good morning tea. The smell (pre-brewing) really reminds me of Earl Grey but the bergamot is not nearly as strong of a flavour as most Earl Greys I’ve drank.
A bit bitter, I think I’ll brew it a little less next time. Or I might just add some milk as another taster mentioned. (I don’t drink tea with milk often so I can’t (yet!) tell right off if a tea would be good with it.) Added a little honey.

Okay, but a little bitter in the long run (maybe I brew it wrong though). My main working tea.
