Herbal TTB! There’s a bit of an orange pith bitterness to this, and the flavors are a little less authentic than in some of the Basilur teas. It’s not bad, but it’s not one I would necessarily choose.

A flavor combination I usually love sadly ruined by far too much stevia :(. I couldn’t finish the cup.

So disappointing!

That sounds delicous but I agree, stevia just ruins things for me. Every time I try things with Stevia, it goes from, this isn’t too bad to all I taste is stevia

The interesting thing is that some of Basilur’s teas actually use stevia in moderate enough amounts that I really enjoyed them! Their cold brew line seems to trend sweeter overall, but the others I tried were at least drinkable.

Herbal and Decaf Traveling Tea Box, Summer 2025.
Orange Mango (°Cold Brew). Basilur.

String-tag paper tea bag containing dry herbs in a foil sealed pouch. Prepared as directed: steeped in 8 oz. spring water at ambient for 4 hr. I probably could have let this steep overnight, because it tasted a little weak at first. But sweetening with a spoonful of sugar accentuated the flavors nicely and made for a tasty cold infusion! The hibiscus and rose hip was barely noticeable as a slight sourness, and the stevia lent a bitter note. Likely the rose hip and hibiscus aren’t extracted very efficiently by the cold water. But the terrific orange and mango flavors sang right through it all, tasting real and very good. Not real complex, but nice as a punch replacement and possibly as a mixer for something alcoholic. I could see a screwdriver type drink here. I’ll recommend and rate as an 85.

2025 herbal/caffeine-free TTB

Thankfully the stevia isn’t super noticeable in this one. Similar to the Westminster Peach Passionfruit, it brews up more candy than fruity, which actually works fine for a cold brew. And I do like that this is another “quick iced tea” option that doesn’t involve sugar.
