Anyway, trying to keep track of which B&B matcha I have and/or like. This one came out of the 2022 advent calendar which I didn’t even try to keep up with but one of the first few days. Tasty! I still miss RLT a bit but nothing lasts forever.

It’s Matcha Monday!
I opted to finally try this matcha out for my morning pick, and now I’m bummed that I wanted so long. Hello, new favourite matcha! It’s such a warm, silky peaches & cream profile with rich buttery notes that immediately immerse you in the “Cobbler” flavour! The only thing it’s missing? A kiss of cinnamon! However, it really doesn’t need the cinnamon to be delicious – I just think it would compliment really well.

Bird and Blend was kind enough to send me a sample size tin of this with my most recent order. I was very curious about the new matches that were released (when am I not curious about new tea flavors?). I made it as an iced latte sweetened with honey, and the peach flavor was distinct but not overpowering, and there’s a bit of a crusty note. But, I find that almost all of Bird and Blend’s matchas have this buttery note that is always pretty odd. Because of that buttery flavor, I didn’t like this as much as I was hoping.
