From Blue Hour Tea

This is our take on the classic English Breakfast tea. Canadian Breakfast is a delicious and full bodied blend of Indian, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and Chinese black teas with a few Calendula flowers for colour. This breakfast blend has a balanced flavour and is excellent with milk but is also enjoyable without any additions. It makes a great tea for breakfast and also works well when paired with scones and finger sandwiches.

Flavour Profile: Full Bodied, Toasty, Dried Fruit
Dosing – 1 heaping teaspoon (3-4 grams) per 250ml water
Brewing Temperature – 100°c
Brewing time – 3 to 5 min
Recommend additions – Milk, Honey and Sugar

I woke up to our coldest morning of the season (so far). My fingers are stiff and slow to move. It’s also my first day back from vacation. And a Monday. I’m glad a breakfast blend is the one I pulled from the tea cabinet this morning. It’s strong and a touch bitter, but it has really good flavor.
