From Bulk Herb Store

Our delicious Creamy Pumpkin Pie tea is an essential tea for your holiday season. The rich, nutty flavor of our Red Rooibos tea is blended with a variety of spices including orange peel to create this creamy, soothing blend. We recommend using 1-2 tsp. tea per 8 oz. cup of water. You can brew it in a coffee pot, or by adding it to boiling water and steeping for a few minutes before straining. Make sure you sweeten it with honey and add some cream to get the full pumpkin pie flavor.

From the Santa Claus TTB. Thanks Veronica for the generous portion of this tea!

I’m not sure how much pumpkin I taste but the lack of that doesn’t interfere with a lovely touch pumpkin spice and the creaminess. Yummy! The rooibos doesn’t have too much of the often woodsy flavor that can sneak in and interfere with the tea.

This is a very nice tea and just what I needed this afternoon (another gloomy Dec. day… I think it is about 14 days in a row).

Veronica

I’m glad you like it! I add honey and cream to make it extra yummy. :)

I decided to try some whipped cream on top and that is pretty good, too. Okay, I have to admit that I feel adding whipped cream to about anything would make it good. :)

A friend shared a small sample of this tea from her collection and it seemed like the perfect thing to be sipping during Thanksgiving month! I’m not really getting a lot of pumpkin flavor, but the spice blend is right on target and there is a nice creaminess to it. And I was happy that it didn’t have that unpleasant woody flavor that is so common in rooibos blends. Overall, this is nothing too special, but I did enjoy it.

Here’s Hoping Traveling Teabox Round #3 – Tea #18
A spicy rooibos here! I’m not sure how “pumpkin” it is, but it does have a hint of creaminess to it. There COULD be a hint of squash. But the orange pieces are actually… orange pieces, though they don’t show up in the flavor for me. The spices aren’t too tough. I always love a nice rooibos chai at night: comforting and no caffeine.

This was a thank you gift from a friend because I babysat her kids. She knows me so well to pay me in tea! :) This is one of her favorite herbals, so I was excited to give it a try even though rooibos is very hit or miss with me.

Yay! This one is a hit. The rooibos has an earthy, nutty flavor which combined with the ginger, clove, and cinnamon does taste pie-like. Adding some sugar and milk really took this to the next level. I don’t know if I get the crust or bready notes, but it is a great creamy pumpkin spice tea. The fact that it is caffeine free is a big bonus.

Haha! You know you’re addicted to tea when…it becomes a currency!!!

Veronica

Ha! That’s so true. And I was doubly excited because it was a tea I had never tried form a company I had not heard of. I spent a while tonight browsing their site seeing if there was anything I just had to have. :)
