This tastes JUST like lychee. Very, very impressive tea-blending – I don’t know how Stacy does it, but she makes by far the most true-to-life fruit flavored teas I’ve ever tasted ( going by this and the Cantaloupe & Cream, anyway).

The oolong here is rather faint; I’m not sure if this is how it’s supposed to be or if I might have (very slightly) underleafed.

I drank this hot, but I think I’m going to try it iced next time. It’s so light and refreshing; I can’t imagine it wouldn’t be even more awesome when chilled.

this is one of my all time favourites. i will never be without this tea… it’s become a part of who i am. yes, stacy’s lychee oolong is a part of who i am. =0)

It’s pretty impressive! I think I’ll love it even more when I figure out my perfect steeping parameters. And I know what you mean; I have a tea I feel that way about.

i was just a bit of a drama llama when i reviewed this one and stacy piped up and said she was going to post it on their office wall. LMAO.

This tea smells lovely, and brews up promising. The liquor is golden yellow. Upon sipping the tea, one is greeted with a very pleasing, sweet, fruity flavor. However, the aftertaste — sharp and artificial-tasting — is a deal-breaker for me. It leaves a lingering stickiness/taste in the back of my throat, and I have to use another tea to get rid of the taste.

I’m sorry Butiki Teas; I really wanted to love this but it was not to be.

Sorry to hear that you weren’t a fan of the oolongs. I can guarantee that no artificial flavorings were used. The only thing I can recommend is that if you are using sugar to try using brown crystal sugar or sugar in the raw.

With my Gung Fu teapot I did 4 steeps with this tea. The first three were fabulous and the fourth was mostly floral with little lychee taste left. The leaves are beautiful to look at when steeped and the liquor is pale yellow. The lychee taste is sweet and reminds me of warmed pears and a slight vegetal taste…a good tea.

Mmm nice floral lychee notes with an oolong base. Nice change from the straight oolongs I have but would probably only stock a small amount for when I’m craving a scented tea.

This is a really lovely lychee tea. Tastes and smells very much like the real thing. It’s fruity and juicy with a lightly floral undertone. Resteeps well, too.

I love this tea! I received this as one of my samples with my Butiki order and I wish I had more. I have been searching for a lychee tea that actually tastes like lychee without being too perfumey and this is it.

This really does taste like lychee. I honestly didn’t think that it would, as that must be a really hard flavour to re-create.

I get a bit of a tea taste, but the lychee definitely takes over. It tastes pretty good, but I don’t think it’s one I’ll wake up craving in the morning. On the other hand, if you like lychee, this is the tea for you.

This has a very true lychee flavor, and the green oolong it is paired with compliments this well. It is VERY fruity though.

I just received this as a sample in my Butiki Tea order and actually like it even more then what I ordered! It reminds me of Bubble Tea but the bonus is that I can control the amount of sugar that’s in it. Next to tapioca pearls, Lychee jelly is my favorite thing to add to Bubble Tea and this tastes exactly like it. Mmmm.

This tea is smooth yet thick and with 1 cube of sugar, it’s bliss. I had to split my steep with my daughter as she kept stealing my cup away…it looks like this Lychee Oolong is a new family favorite!

I found that the Lychee agree’s with the Oolong which is mild and in the background. I liked the aroma, and found the flavor didn’t drop off the map on the second steep. Good tea…even though I’m not as found of blended/ flavored teas. I get such a kick out of using just leaf & hot water seeing how amazing the tea by itself can be.
