Golden Stars Our Golden Stars are handcrafted and tied into the shape of a star. This tea originates from China and is a smooth full-bodied tea that is juicy, buttery, and vegetal. Notes of sweet fresh spinach and artichokes can be detected as well as light lingering lemon notes. This delicate tea is delightful and refreshing.

This has been on my looking list for awhile but I had never ordered it. It was a sample kindly included in my most recent order (I think, or maybe the one before that…). I am not sure I’ve had artichoke outside of spinach artichoke dip so I can’t say anything other than this is definitely more vegetal than grassy. I get a lot of sharp lemon though, both in scent and taste. It’s a little too mineral-y and tangy for me. So glad to have had the opportunity to try it!
