From Butiki Teas

Our limited edition Boracay Breeze was originally created as a custom blend for our customer, Jolissa. She sent us her favorite perfume and wanted us to create a blend based on it. Since the tea turned out very delicious, we decided to make this tea available for a short time. We named this tea after a gorgeous island in the Philippines that has white sand and crystal clear waters. This fantastic tea features coconut and vanilla flavors but also has light floral, banana, citrus, and amber notes and will have you feeling like you are relaxing on a private island. Don’t miss this opportunity to try our limited edition tea!

Yay for limited edition teas! I’m actually surprised there aren’t more reviews of this one, though maybe everyone’s just hoping it will last until the sale on Friday.

1st off – this is a REALLY pretty tea. i really like it. 2nd – this is a coconut tea (typically not my favourite but i want to try ALL of stacy’s teas!).

Stacy’s facebook comment mentions that “This tea uses a Bai Mu Dan base. The predominant flavors are coconut, 2 types of vanilla, and banana but rose, cake, tangerine, lemon, and cream flavors were also added.”

What do i taste? Coconut and…vanilla..and fruitiness, that i would call citrusy, but i’m not sure i could place the actual lemon and tangerine. For those that dislike floral teas, i would say that even with the rose in it, it’s not a floral tea. This is more like a coconut, creamy tea with pops of citrus….at least that’s what i’m getting tonight…but i’ve got a more to play with and and i’m a little curious how this would take cold brewing :)

Final Count: 142 – 9 days left to get to 95!

Ha! I am in fact waiting for the sale!

Sounds delish! I like coconut rum with orange juice and splash of sprite so I guess you could say I’m a fan of coconut & citrus together. Sounds like this would be solar flavors in tea form with a touch of vanilla.. Yum! I could see it cold steeped & drinking it out by the pool. :)

Have you had the Lemon French Macaron? If so, which one do you like better? :3

I am also surprised that there aren’t many reviews. We have sold a lot of it but I’m wondering if people aren’t sure what to make of it yet or maybe just not a lot of Steepster people made purchases.

Cameron – lemon macaron, but that’s because I adore lemon….love it. And coconut is not my favourite, thorough Stacy’s done this really well. :) her and lupicia tend to be the only two companies where I don’t hate the coconut flavour.

Stephanie

OH I totally forgot about this one! Thanks for the reminder and review, Sil.

Plunkybug

I really want to try this. It’s on the list to try with the order I am planning right now.
