I am finishing off this tea now, and I’m bumping down my rating a bit. Most of the pots of it I made came out very thin. When it was on, it was good. But it was hard to get it on.
This well-known tea is produced in the village of Meijawu and its long, flat leaves offer a thirst-quenching liquor that is quite invigorating. More vegetal than its counterpart, Shi Feng, this Long Jing boasts notes of sweet pea and okra and a slightly marine flavour. A true classic that cannot be missed.
