From ChaCeremony

This is a relativity newer offering from our partners in China. It’s name is translated to the “Yellow Goddess of Mercy” which pays homage to the Bodhisattva of compassion, revered by Buddhists around the world.

The world famous Tie Guan Yin cultivar and Huang Jin Gui cultivar have been crossed to create this unique tea.
Grown at 2100 feet in elevation on Mt. Wuyi in Fujian province.

It possesses a medium roast which allows for the nuances show through on each infusion.

Tasting this tea will bring flavors of toasted bread, hints of charcoal smoke, notes of stone fruit and a unique “rock grown” quality.
Understandably there will be a tie guan yin like quality to this tea and we find that it will satisfy those who have grown to love yancha, and also those just beginning to learn these wonderful types of semi-fermented teas.
