From Adagio Custom Blends

one sweet cup
created by: Kristina Desmond

A blend of hazelnut and caramel black tea with a touch of cream and chocolate chips. A delicious dessert tea, or for any time of day.

Inspired by the recent death of my favourite kitty, Gizmo, on July 31st 2012, I’ve been drinking nothing but sweet teas and making this blend manually from my separate packages.

ingredients:
hazelnut, caramel, cream

accent:
chocolate chips

First time I’m having this with the ‘new’ Adagio parameters (aka, not boiling water for black base teas).

This blend is getting old and I’m really going to have to give some of it away if I’m going to get through it in a timely fashion. Maybe as a bonus tea in my next couple of swaps or something. Same with my other Adagio custom blend.

This is still slightly bitter, but not much, not even enough to bother me and I am super bitter sensitive. I pick up the hazelnut mostly and perhaps a touch of caramel but not much and none of the other flavours that are supposed to be in here either. Perhaps my tongue’s not up to it today after I abused it with honeybush yesterday. I have one more mug of this left before I can move on to a different tea. I really need to bring in a Finium basket to work. I bought one for this purpose and I just haven’t gotten around to doing it.

Also note to self, I need to bring in a chocolate tea or two because one of my coworkers wants one.

Additional notes: testing testing. I doubt this will post. Steepster has been weird. Just wanted to say sipdown! This still has a bit of a chocolate flavor left after ALLLL these years. More than I’d expect. It was a good one – thanks for creating it StarFevre! What I was really looking for was Reichenbach Recovery this morning, but I don’t know where that is right now.

The Dashboard is broken (yet again… sigh. I need one of those “Steepster has been working for X days” scripts that I can just reset to satisfy my own morbid curiosity of how high it actually would ever get, because I doubt it would make it to the double-digits). I’ve been using https://www.steepster.com/recent to read new posts because I don’t want to fall behind (and have a feeling when the Dashboard is “revived” it’ll start off “blank” again like last time) but since most people don’t bother to read anything EXCEPT off their Dashboard and nowhere else, anything being posted right now is pretty much being ignored. For that reason I’m just sitting on my own reviews (which I write on an external .txt file anyway) until things get fixed…

haha yes. Just got the e-mail alert you posted this comment… then everything dumps at once. Just as long as the admins are trying. And it looks like the ‘more’ button is working for the older notes before the crash, so that’s an improvement anyway.

I did assume the worst and figured we’d get a blank Dash that had to “repopulate” again. Think I’ll hold out a bit more after the dump before posting my weekend steepings. :-)

Better get blank Dashboard than not working at all! It seems it works again, even with written tasting notes! Happy about that, but bit afraid if it is gonna happen again?!

Mastress Alita: I didn’t know we could that with the “recent” thing! Thanks! I do only see dashboard because I didn’t really realize we had another choice!
