From Adagio Custom Blends

In the Land of Ooo where you are the last Human, your vanilla green self is odd and rare among the candy people but you don’t let that bother you. Youthful, adventurous, and a hero above all things. Like a wild strawberry you take up the challenge to be both sweet and aggressive in your goals. But after all is said and done you just want to mellow out gingerbread style with your magical bro dog in your cozy tree-house. Cause you’re all about that.

After a big adventure, sometimes you just gotta have a nice cup of tea and sit down and think about life. Finn style. We do not own Adventure Time, nor the rights to it. This is merely us paying homage to it.

Backlog

This always sounds SO GOOD and then is a little disappointing, I think because I just generally don’t care much for the base teas Adagio tends to use. It wasn’t bad, it just lacked strong flavor. I try to shy away from comparisons to other companies unless I really think it’s salient and I do here: months and months later when I tried Butiki With Open Eyes (green tea with notes of strawberry jam, ginger, and toffee) it delivered everything I’d hoped for in this one and more.

I’m still aliiiiive. I’ve just been swamped with work, vet tech school applications, etc.
Anywho, put in a recent order from Adagio with a gift certificate I got during Christmas and this was one of teas I ordered.

This smells freaking fantastics. I would inhale this all day long if I could. It reminds me a lot of Crunch Berries. Yum. The taste is lovely too, light and a bit fruity. The gingerbread kind of mellows everything out. I could easy drink pots of this. Still fiddling with temp/times but I’m pretty satisfied with my first attempt.

For a moment I had a thought that this was a cannibalistic tea. Human flavored. Actual tea sounds tasty. :)

I don’t know, if people tasted like this than maybe…

Haha Fortunately, most humans smell rather unappetizing. Otherwise, we’d be living in a scary place. :)
