From DAVIDsTEA

For almond lovers

It looks all normal when it’s loose. But steep it and you’ll see that it’s nuts. Within seconds, this tempting jumble of almond slices and chunks, apple bits and cinnamon bark starts turning a crazy shade of pink. Why? Because it contains a hint of beetroot. That’s what gives this rich almond tea its earthy depth and its all-natural signature colour. Deliciously nutty, decidedly addictive. Caffeine-free.

Ingredients: Apple, almonds, cinnamon, beetroot and artificial flavouring*.

When it’s in the bag/tin, the smell of Forever Nuts is divine- it’s like those delicious mini donuts sold at fairs! Once steeped however, the smell dissipates and you can tell just from the scent that the tea is fairly weak. The flavor is still there a bit though, so it’s accented nicely with sweetener and a bit of hot milk.

Plus the fact that it brews to a hot pink color is fantastic as well!

Honestly, after reading the above tea reviews I was reallly, really, surprised.
This herbal tea, is a mixture of different nuts, like almonds and thrown in is apple and beetroot (which gives it the adorable pink colour)
This tea definitely need sweetener or it’s bland. The sweetener, (I use agave, just a little squirt not too much). And, it’s absolutely delicious!
You can drink this anytime of the day and my boyfriend who actually really doesn’t love tea, fell in love with this tooo!
Highly recommend this tea :) mmmm

One of the only teas I’d really appreciate during any time of the day, especially would be excellent staying up late, it’s decaffinated but definately puts me on the edge of my seat!

Drink it as a tea? Nahhh…. definately make a latte out of it, certainly worth it, and to add just a little honey makes it to die for. The flavour itself almost makes me think “nostalgic”, or “children’s tea”, but that’s no excuse for everyone to drink it! It’s like a Never Neverland in a cup.

Fun tea, and I love nuts, but the tea needed something. too bland for me, but I would consider trying it again with some agave in it. Had it in store so unsure of steep time/temp.

Tastes like french toast in a drink! I had high expectations for this since I had been hearing about it for years and finally got to try it, its really good actually. Especially for an herbal tea. Its more on the subtle flavor side but it works. It is pink though, not a color I was expecting, especially since I liked it best with milk added

I was skeptical of this immediately based on the name. After my shock that it’s quite tasty – like a cinnamon pastry with hints of cream and apple – I read reviews and found out that this blend is like, a THING.

It’s a very tasty thing, as it turns out. I’m saved from an immediate purchase by the fact that I’m rarely in the mood for a pastry, and it really gives me that vibe.

(Also, I really don’t know why the pink color is a selling point – it just seems wrong?)

This was my number one favorite tea for a while. Sweet and comforting. I just had some with a splash of milk and it wasn’t as great as I remember. I think it may be pretty old and that’s why…

Damn this was such a let down. This tea smells quite good when you take it out of the package. You get hit by notes of almonds, nutmeg, cinnamon… Almost like there’s a pastry in your tea bag! But it tasted quite bland to be honest. You mostly tasted artificial flavors and nothing like the rich taste I was promised. Like warm water with a few spices in it. Honestly it could be much better, if they mixed it with a black or oolong tea. The otherwise bland aromas could bring something to a strong brew, soften it. But as a fruit bland it was incredibly boring. I usually never buy teas with sugar in them, but this was sent to me, and I opened it on Christmas, in for a treat, but was left utterly disappointed.

Made this up to drink while rewatching the 1991 Addams Family movie, which I don’t think I’ve seen since the 90s… it seemed appropriate. This was a free sampler I picked up at some point from DAVIDsTEA. It brews a pink color from the beetroot powder. It tastes like cinnamon-sugar roasted nuts (I’m particularly getting almond/cashew notes), and while mostly sweet, there is a slight tartness to the cup as well. A pleasant pot of tea while I’m snacking on popcorn and enjoying a nostalgic movie on a rainy autumn evening!

Pushing Daisies is on my October seasonal watch list; did an episode while folding many, many loads of laundry yesterday. However, the unseasonable temps (high 80’s) kind of ruined the vibe.
