From DAVIDsTEA

Perfectly decadent with rich notes of molasses, toffee, spice and a hint of cocoa.

dreams dough come true
Everyone loves gingerbread cookies, right? Well, what if we told you we took toffee, spice and everything nice and rolled it into one dark & delicious pu’erh tea to create Gingerbread Toffee. We even topped off this decadent fresh-out-the-oven recipe with a hint of warming spices and rich cocoa. Just make sure you try it as a latte if you’re looking for a festive & frothy treat. SO YUMMY.

What makes it great:
This blend was three years in the making—going for a pu’erh tea base really changed the game, giving this blend a rich & dark flavour.
Makes the perfect latte to dunk gingerbread or other holiday cookies into!
Lovers of Brown Sugar Bourbon, English Toffee or Cardamom French Toast will adore this tea, too!

Ginger, Black tea, Pu’erh tea, Cinnamon, Caramel flakes (sugar, glucose syrup), Cocoa husk, Caramel (sugared condensed skimmed milk, sugar, glucose syrup, butterfat, humectant sorbitol, mono and diglycerides of fatty acids), Allspice, Cocoa bean, Natural flavouring.

Merry (belated) Christmas to everyone here on Steepster who celebrates!

Ahh, to be a gingerbread man taking a soak in a cozy cuppa tea on Christmas day! I pulled out a tea for one set that I haven’t had a chance to use this year for a Christmas morning pot of tea with some homebaked (not by me) and suuuupeeerr molasses heavy gingerbread cookies. Perfect for dunking! The set makes about two teacups worth of tea, so I had one plain and one with a splash of eggnog. Hard to decide which was better. The plain had more of the aromatic and spice of the gingerbread, but the eggnog brought out more of the sweet and decadent toffee notes. Both were divine with the cookies.

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

Gingerbread with blackstrap molasses is my favorite!

I’m not a fan of inflatable Christmas decorations, but you’d like the one up the hill from us. Precisely what you described: gingerbread man soaking in a teacup labeled Spa.
