From DAVIDsTEA

cran’t beat it

Bold, juicy & sweet, this tea will have you puckering up! With tart cranberry and zesty orange, it’s a fruity explosion with a base of fresh oolong to tie it all together. Enjoy it hot, iced or even shaken (but not stirred) for a refreshing and party-worthy burst of flavour. Bonus: it looks as good as it tastes, with a ruby red colour that’s perfect for a punch bowl!

What Makes it Great
Sweet, tart & intensely juicy, balanced out by a base of fresh oolong.

As delicious iced as it is hot; brew up a pitcherful as the perfect addition to any get-together!
Pro tip: serve it iced with a little vodka or triple sec and a squeeze of lime for a take on the Cosmopolitan (one of the inspirations for this tea)! Swap the alcohol for seltzer, and you’ve got a mocktail fit for a family brunch.
Your next hangover hack: double down on the cranberry for a cleansing boost after a night out.

Oolong tea, Beetroot, Sweet blackberry leaf, Hibiscus, Organic orange peel, Apple, Orange, Red currant, Cranberry, Natural (sweet, orange, cranberry) flavouring with stevia extract.

Today is cold and rainy, so I made a cup of fruity tea to brighten my mood. This was one of the few teas I grabbed (too little of) on my trip to Canada a couple weeks ago. One thing that I will mention about going to DavidsTea in-house is that you’re not restricted to 50g or too much of any tea…However, with that said, this was one of those teas I should’ve went with my gut instinct on and bought 50-500g versus 20g! I’ll note a grabbed 20-25g of most of my teas to get a nice sampler of their tea wall to try at home.

There are layers to this cup – a subtle tartness from the cranberry and hibiscus, a touch of acidity from the orange, refreshing “summery” sweetness, and possibly the cure for my seasonal melancholy. I will note to grab more of this online, if it’s available, once I’m ready for more tea; however, if it’s sold out, I’ll always have this cup + a few more until it’s gone.

Iced!

This was the other tea I had in my second travel mug while working offsite unpacking stock. It’s not a coincidence that the two teas I picked are my favourite two that were released this year. This one is easily my number one. I just don’t think I’m ever going to get over how perfectly fresh, juicy and bright it tastes. And unpacking boxes for multiple hours in a row is pretty tiring, so that punchy fruity flavour definitely kept my spirits up quite a lot!

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.
